Put a Globalist in the White House and.......

How's Gas Prices in your neck of the woods? Are you feeling a bit of a pinch yet?

I know. I know it's not Senile Joe's fault...

Except he canceled the Keystone Pipeline...

Banned Fracking which was what made us Gas Independent and one of the worlds biggest exporters under your Favorite President Donald J. Trump!

Yeah, I know, I know it's bad for the environment...

Yet CHINA, INDIA & RUSSIA are the WORLDS BIGGEST POLLUTERS

Did you know that the PARIS Accord forces the US to cut our pollution like yesterday...

But the BIG 3 have years before they are supposed to cut theirs? I believe China's doesn't kick in until 2040.. I could be off by a couple years

A lot of oil companies are cutting back on production. A lower supply means higher prices.

Can you ballpark what the increase adds up to annually, Dan? $100?

Around $600 a year... if I stayed on the low end of driving for me!

Have you considered that maybe you drive too much, Dan?

Hard to get to work if I don't drive to it.... DUH!

I had a job this whole time.

It hurts my head Dan to try to even comprehend how fucking stupid you are

you're the monorail on one track with the path to a dead end

Go back in hide in your cave

and be the ignorant macho caveman that you think you are

I do feel sorry for you and hope you get some solace

and do get some of the  attention That you are so desperate for

With all your moronic trolling

I paid $5.09 a gallon today. Only got a couple gallons.

I think it's in the $3.-- something range here.

If only we could go back to 1967 - the music was good and gas was around 25¢ a gallon.

I paid $2.65 a gallon for regular at Costco in Salt Lake on the 10th.

I'm sure this is all Biden's fault. But facts have never been your strong suit 2 Dense.  ------>

Within the past 18 months, gas prices plummeted due to low demand as the pandemic put a halt on travel before jumping up to pre-pandemic levels within the last month or so.

The last time the Wasatch Front was below $2 a gallon within the last five years was March of 2016. The highest point – pushing $3 per gallon – happened in 2018.

It's true that politics and legislation has an impact, but most of the steep ups and downs have to do with other factors.

Right now, the U.S. is at 56% refining capacity, which is the lowest on record. And the recent weather in Texas hasn't helped.

The oil-producing nations that slashed production when the pandemic started also just announced they aren't in a hurry to start pumping crude again. This has created an artificially low supply.

Demand is also booming as states open back up, and the more expensive summer blend of gasoline makes the upcoming months cost more.

It's easy to point fingers and blame those in power, but who has the power to adjust gas prices? That's where things get complicated.

Dan, please explain the process of producing petroleum from fracking.

Still cheaper than the UK and EU.   Paid $3.90 the other day out in the sticks of Lone Pine CA.

Dan gives Biden a lot of power and credit.

Just remember that the oil companies don't break even until the price of a barrel is $60.

The keystone pipeline has nothing to do with gas prices.  You are a slave to propaganda. Cool try, magat

im sure it's all related to yoga tho

Don't worry, when we invade Iran and steal their crude oil everything will be better.

MAGA couldn't wait for gas prices to rise(it was going to happen no matter who was president), the commentary has been being written for months

$2.75 here.in W. OR. To me, it doesn't seem like a lot until it gets to $3.00.

Biden didn't ban fracking. There's a 60 day suspension on federal lands and there are still special permits that can be approved. He has issued many drilling permits since elected. We have been producing less oil by the day, but likely still importing the same amount of crude pi which is what we make gas out of.

Gas almost cost what it should. We still have some of the cheapest gas in the world.

a gallon of gas in France as of 3/8/21 was only 6.71/gal.

We don't know what sustained high gas prices are like.

https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/France/gasoline_prices/

Prices are up to about $3.50 a gallon in my part of SoCal, and will probably go up from there after we switch over to the summer formulation in April.

^^^Gas almost cost what it should.

that's the part that propagandists and their slaves don't seem to understand. I worked in the fuel distribution industry in my first adult life and it really only requires a pea brains' amount of acumen to comprehend that fact. But I also know that's expecting an awful lot from someone who wants to blame the president, keystone and fracking instead.

When you factor in the wars and graft, we're all paying about $15/gal.; just not at the pump.

Wait til Haaland starts enforcing sensible environmental policies for leases. Oil companies will scream 'cause that's what they do, yet they have almost 10,000 undeveloped leases in the West now.

And when the royalty structure is redesigned, it won't be so cheap to go out and fuck up our lands so we can drive around and pollute the air.

For some facts and figures, go here:  https://suwa.org/facts-about-the-biden-administrations-pause-on-new-oil-...

There's links to the citations for verification. It's even got some charts for those that don't read.

i.e. - Due to outdated laws, speculators can acquire oil and gas leases for ten-year periods for as little as $1.50 per acre—a broken process that generates little revenue for the state (none of which goes directly to fund public education). In Utah, fourteen of the seventeen leases issued by the BLM in 2020 sold for the minimum amount per acre (82 percent).

and ....In 2020, the BLM issued only seventeen leases in 2020, covering 11,045 acres. In total, the high bidders paid just $51,617 to acquire these leases.

BUT GODDAMMIT,THIS IS BIDEN'S FAULT!!!!!!!  Right 2Dense?

World-renowned writer and University of Utah educator Terry Tempest Williams leased a parcel for her environmental studies classes. Unlike Tim DeChristopher, she did pay the BLM.

But they returned her money. They said you need to promise to produce energy from this lease. She said she certainly would. I guess it wasn't the kind of energy BLM appreciates.

Some days of reckoning are coming, for the companies AND the petroleum consuming public.

Seismic trucks roam Utah wild lands through the cryptogamic soil (that's that black crust) so they can shake the shit out of the land and find that oil

I hope gas goes to $10 a gallon.

^ that's the liberal thought.  Tax the evil things, with no attention to the repercussions caused to the poor.

"Let them eat lithium"

^just like the cobalt miners in Africa.

Gas is a global commodity idiot

Look here, we have a genius posting today folks.  Give yourself a hand fabes, you cunt.

This global commodity is already taxed over 50 cents a gallon here and over 70 cents elsewhere.

The Green New Deal would raise taxes over $10 a gallon.

^Citing the institute for energy research?

Can you find an unbiased source for that opinion?

$2.89  No issues.

Racket, what is the increase going to cost you annually?

Cunt, so tough and funny all rolled up in one.

SO, no mention of the weeks long shut down of refineries in south Texas and Louisiana when their shitty infrastructure shut down ...

this is from two weeks ago in the news

According to GasBuddy’s analysis, 11 refineries in Texas and one in Kansas have at least partially shut due to the extremely cold weather. The national average price of gasoline may jump over the next two weeks by 10-20 cents per gallon from its current price of $2.54 per gallon as a result of the refinery shutdowns,

Blame away, blame Biden and the dems, moron

The Dank stupidity is maddening. Exactly what policy change took effect to raise prices dumb fuck? Raider fans are embarrassed by your stupidity.

Wow

> you cunt

Usually a sign that your argument is failing.

ok, to be clear, you understand how this works...gas prices were depressed after a years worth of low demand, which pushed prices down. In order to counter that, refining capacity was taken off line to keep supply in line with demand and to try and keep prices from plummeting. . When the demand came back, like now, the capacity / supply isnt not coming back as fast so refineries and oil companies can maximize profit -

You know, how the markets actually work

i am just curious to exactly how do you correlate the higher prices because of Biden / Dems ? did they magically raise taxes on the gas ? Have they ordered less gas refined ? if only you couyld explain with facts, not baseless  assertions around vagaries like re-joining the Paris accords or pausing fracking, neither of which affect petroleum prices...

just asking

...Silly Rabbit, Facts Don't MAGA!

If Trump were in charge there'd be no national vaccine plan.

If Biden weren't vaccinating so many people...

...there would be even less travel...

---and gas prices would be lower.

Biden's fault, DUH.

fixed that for you Dan
