Gas Price Check

Forums:

Paid $ 5.09 a gal ( 87 octane ) this Morning in Ventura Ca sad

I dunno. Haven't bought gas in two weeks.

Bet I'll wish I had, though.

$4.19 here in Bucks County PA.

Filled up the other day for $4.49 I think it was.

Paid $3.35 Friday in Tahlequah.

I saw everything from $4.99 to $5.49 for regular yesterday, San Jose/ Santa Clara CA

$3.49 last week.

Saw a youtube video of Average Russian Dan visiting gas stations........ $1.80 per gallon.

Well the good news here is our loan was approved and we're closing on a full tank at the end of the week

$3.49 last Monday

$4.09 today

$5.99 Tahoe

$6 to $7 North County San Diego

Just saw $4.49 in Portland but my gas guru app says there are cheaper prices if I'm willing to waste more gas to go there and get it.  ;-)

$3.23 the other day at the SLC Costco. Might be close to $3.49 today. Ready to pay more to support the effort to save Ukrainians.

4.29.9 near Corvallis.

About  3.69 for premium at Costco near Boulder CO.

3.99 ft. Myers, fl.

$3.59... north jersey

$3.73 central jersey

Too Much

Given the 6 mile per gallon 18 wheelers circling DC I wish it was higher.

I would pay twice the going rate to boycott Putin.

The BBC is reporting the average price of gas is 155 pence per liter, or about $7.72 per gallon.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-60642786

5.299, 5.499, 5.599, 5.699, respectively, for Reg, Plus, Premium, and Diesel at Chevron in Studio City, CA. I paid 4.759 for Premium at Costco in Burbank the other day.

Why is total economic warfare acceptable regarding a foreign nation, but not against a domestic insurgency?

>>>>I would pay twice the going rate to boycott Putin.

I hope Americans will quit whining about their prices (see Europe, people) and realize we must do what we can.

Sad we are not into renewable energy like we ought to be with all the years of warnings.

GREED GREED GREED It Will Be 6 Dollars A Gallon Before Mid April Around Here.

$4.17 in St. John's County, Fla.

Still much cheaper than Europe.

When a gallon cost a day's pay I'll worry about it.

The national average for a gallon of gas is $4.17. A gallon of Starbucks coffee costs $16.80.

$3.99

Kept seeing images a couple of days ago in Beverly Hill's $6.99.

Mr.Drysdale would jean creem with Jed's money.

5.89. Chula Vista,CA

How about that white privilege?

Do you pay less at the pump for being a disadvantaged African-American person, Racket?

I pass an Arco everyday, that I consider {cheap} gas....for 87 regular

Has been high 4's for months

Sunday went to 5.19

Monday 5.29

If you don't go there or to Costco

then you see in the high 5's about to push over to $6 a gallon. This is in Sonoma County, CA-so it only gets higher in SF

I have to drive all over the place for work

so I got a tuneup, good tires, trying to drive slower- lol

huge lines for gas at the sam's club here yesterday

I think $3.74 had them topping of after Joe's announcement of no more ruskie gas

I'm trying to cope with the rise in gas prices by telling myself that this is the economic equivalent of kicking Putin in the nuts.

While all this is going on, the oil companies are still posting record profits. They are bolstered by corporate subsidies and tax breaks, effectively putting then in an 11% tax bracket.

Filled both tanks in the flatbed this a.m.

$402.71, and that was at the "cheap" place. Had to run the card six times because their pumps quit at $75.

but as you can imagine I was actually bossing up two pumps at the same time, because they flow so slowly.

that's 77 something gallons of diesel in Medford, Oregon.

THIS^.

Not buying the "It's humanitarian/Patriotic to pay the Saudis out the ass for gasoline because fuck Putin"  when the Saudis have been doing a genocide on Yemen for far longer than this war with Ukraine. NO. Oil companies are profiteering off of human suffering and I am not ever going to be ok with that.

walk, ride a bike work close to home 2 Euros a Litre  in Lyon France

^ that's $8.375 USD/Gal

But hey, we've always got that Ben and Jerry's on the cheap cheap

$5.49 at my usual place yesterday. Up a buck (22%) in the last 10 days.

Sheeeet- my Arco jumped to 5.59 for regular in 3 days

Saw in local paper that places along the North Coast are having to pay $8 now

Keep reminding myself that I have a roof over my head, a job and I'm not being bombed for no reason by Russia....

Taking a deep breath :)

Vibes to Ukraine!!! Just too much...

$4.25 north jersey

$4.29 central jersey

>Keep reminding myself that I have a roof over my head, a job and I'm not being bombed for no reason by Russia....<

I remind others of that as well

$5.59

The Democratic super majority in California voted not to pause the gas tax.

They also voted not to end the "state of emergency".

It's for our own good, ya know?

$ 5.75 ............

.

$5.27 this morning at Costco in Richmond.  Costs more in Richmond that it does at the Costco in San Leandro.

Strange, as Richmond is one of the poorest cities in the Bay Area and it is also the home of so many oil refineries...

Great news. My loan was approved. I'm closing on a tank of gas tomorrow.

$2 for a gallon of premium today.

^^^
In what year? Pre or post pandemic.

3/18/22

Where Dat?

Bahrain

^two US dollars, or two dinar?

$4.25 (USD) for diesel in Loreto BCS.

$5.75 for regular unleaded at my local this morning. Up about $0.20 in the last 3 weeks or so.

$4.09...yesterday in north jersey

$5.699 for Premium yesterday @ Costco in the San Fernando Valley (L.A.), which is actually a drop of about 20¢/gal. and possibly a result of Biden tapping the strategic reserves.

$5.34 for premium at a Chevron in outer East Portland.

$4.19 east coast Florida

I paid $3.89 at Costco in Palm Beach Gardens Tim

Around $4.10 on the northern gulf coast.

Still $6.29 So Cal

^ I saw gas stations in and around LA pushing $7/gal last week but gotta love Costco, if available/applicable, as they will always have the least expensive gas in any given area.

^^^^
Without a doubt.

$3.59 today at Costco

$5.599 for Premium @ SFV, LA Costco today...inching downward ever so slowly.

back under 4 bucks in dirty jersey

$4.29.9 at Costco today (regular). Salt Lake.

Saw $3.67 regular in Edison NJ on sunday.

Gas was over $8 at Furnace Creek (Death Valley National Park) last week.  Luckily had enough gas to make it to Lone Pine where it was something like $5.68

Chevron regular is running about 5.50 around here in Lake County.

$6.85 Key West

Still $5.75 in the mountains between LA and Bakersfield.

$5.05 in Richmond, CA

My local was down a dime to $5.65 this morning.

thats really good, fitz~

i saw 3.93 in rio grande this day

Prices been going steadily down for the past few weeks, maybe a month.

Paid $3.99 today at Citco. First time paying under 4 since Feb or March.

we are still over 4 but getting closer to 3

4.20 at my closest place, with the app discount

Easties get all the cheap gas. It was $5.85 when I filled up yesterday.

$5.399 for Premium @ Costco in SFV, LA on Friday....$4.429 for same same at "RaceTrac" in Ft Lauderdale.

$3.54 for regular in Phillips country.

Californias gas tax went up July 1st!

It's down to $5.45 today where I'm at.

gas company profits are enormous

PIGS

- should the "state" take over

Gas finally made it under five bucks a gallon at my local: $4.99.

We're supposed to blame sleepy Joe for the price drop, aren't we?

I mean...

I paid $3.69 today after 10 cents off for good behavior at my local Piggly Wiggly

$3.03 cash or $3.39 credit currently

^ yes, bss, this price drop is all his fault....lol

$3.55

Saw $3.45 cash in Edison, NJ on Sunday.

Been holding steady for a few weeks now at $5.09 for Premium at Costco in SFV, LA.

......then why is it still around $5.30 in the NW?

Do you have summer and winter formulations up there, LLOLLO? We're still on the summer blend, and that's why it's still about $5 a gallon down here in CA.

$4.75 where I'm at in CA

Mike, you are correct!

My bureau is guiding a new policy on renewable fuel standards.. so that policy guy knew the answer.

$3.75 here in NJ is the cheapest I know. Prices have gone down at least a buck recently.

I haven't been driving my wagon for over a week, as someone broke a side window breaking into it right in front of my place... still waiting on glass repair, evidently it's an epidemic in Portland right now.

5.19 for premium at the Chevron in Lower Lake.

Sorry to hear about the broken window Llollo.  Thieves suck.

Big time bummer, LLOLLO. I hope karma delivers a swift kick in the nuts to whoever did this to your vehicle.

Thanks you guys.  Window has been difficult to source ... going to settle for a used window (though a Volvo brand window) and they will let me know in the morn if they can fit me in tomorrow... way up on N Lombard..

$3.89 in Bucks County, PA yesterday.

$3.89 in Bucks County, PA yesterday.

$4.999 @ Van Nuys, CA this morning (Costco/Premium). Heads Up LLOLLO, the Portland Costco at 4849 NE 138TH AVE is currently showing $4.959 for Premium.

...It is funny to see the wind taken out of the seething GOPrs with falling gas prices and it looks like inflation has peaked too. LOL

Was $3,89 yesterday in my town. Today is $3.73.

Downward trend, thanks Strawbud.

I'm on the bus now, on way to pick up my repaired car now...

Weekend options are improving...

Good luck on your car rolling again and staying intact and Holiday Weekend Ready! In some parts of SF, criminals are smashing out the windows of every car on some streets just to scavenge whatever is easily "at hand". Fkn Losers.

Also, I realize that Costco is not an option for everyone (as a members-only super club) but figured I'd throw it out there anyway for an apples-apples comparison anyway.

Was $4.19  at Costco in SLC on Wednesday,  2 hours later and 125 miles south in a small town (Gunnison) I passed a Chevron at $3.84. Stopped in yesterday on the way home and it was down 6 cents to $3.78. Don't know what the Costco is now and if it dropped too. What a game. And we're next to oil-drilling Wyoming and have some of the highest prices in the nation.

^ Within the US, price depends more on distance from refinery than distance from wellhead.

You would think SLC prices would be lower because of greater supply and competition there than in the boonies. That's pretty strange, Slick.

^Could be some local taxes too, which tend to be higher in metro areas. Burbank Costco has higher gas prices than the one in Van Nuys, for example. I would bet that prices rise again in the St George, UT area, partly due to its tax base and closer proximity to NV which oftentimes gets more so lumped into CA/"West Coast" market.

....current St George, UT Costco gas prices for Reg & Premium, respectively:

$4.469 & $4.859

But sometimes the more remote gas stations have significantly higher priced gas too...where alse ya gonna get gas 'round here?

Current pricing at Sandy, UT Costco (southern part of metro SLC):

3.999/4.399

Burbank, CA:

4.899/5.199

Van Nuys, CA:

4.699/5.039 (an odd recent uptick from paying 4.999 last week for Premium at this location)

$4.46 in North Portland this morning.

3.17 Blackstone MA last night Should be in the 2's next week :)

Back up to $5.99 - $6.09  again in So.Cal.

We had been down to $4.99 for a while.

I think it was back up to $5.39 in my part of SoCal when I filled up the other day. It went up after Labor Day though, which is kind of odd because they usually jack up the prices for holiday weekends when lots of folks are traveling.

$5.69 for premium in Portland yesterday!

Fuel jockey blamed it on the usual "refineries in the Bay Area" ... to which I replied, "No, it's the gas industry increasing their profits because they have the power to do so."

3.19 for the cheap stuff.

3.45 for Sol Loco (service place; not just gas)

$ 5.95 a gal today 87 octane

$3.51 here. Went down 6 cents about a week ago.

$7.51 for regular in Bolinas the other day.

Ouch.

There's a little gas station in Rancho Santa Fe

that has the most expensive gas in San Diego area.

I'll have to check to see if they can beat that $7.51

Paid $3.19 credit for regular in Fort Lee, NJ the other day

3.69 Iowa

3.49 Hays Kansas

check this

lil town of Lebanon Nebraska

$3.89 reg unleaded

$$3.39 super unleaded at sign and pump

$2.96.  If we keep letting the oil companies get away with this then, they will continue to benefit from any change in their normal operations.  They have made more money in 2022 than ever while the rest of us suffer.

1) Require them to have a reserve,

2) Force them to build enough refineries to sustain 100 percent production when one or more are shut down due to unforseen circumstances.

$2.50-$5.00-$2.50, not okay and obviously a purposeful abuse.

Man we really get over our addiction to this stuff.

$5.39 > $6.19 in less than a week. wtf?

Rancho Santa Fe, one of the richest communities in the U.S. is charging $6.99 for reg.

Who does Bolinas think they are?

2.99 this morning in NY

To be fair, the Bolinas gas station is run as a non-profit, so a bunch of the money goes back

into the town for affordable housing, etc...

The one up in Mendocino is the real rip-off, $10 a gallon.

Rancho has the 100 octane at $10.99

Went up a dollar between tanks.

Spiking hardcore in CA again. $6.279 for Premium @ Van Nuys yesterday.

Regular was 5.399 in Eugene a couple of days ago.

CA always gets fucked in the fall and the spring because we require a special environmentally friendly formulation that they have to switch over depending on the season. The oil companies responded to that by only tooling the refineries in CA to produce it. Then every fall and spring like clock work their is an "unplanned outage" at one of the CA refineries and the price shoots up, and we can't import gas from any where else. That extra oil company profit comes with the sweet added bonus of fucking over CA

$ 6.60 for 87 Octane a gallon   what a joke noangry

$3.09 at Costco in Florida today.

Coming down in CA: $5.759 for Premium @ Van Nuys Costco.
