Man these posters don’t last long...

saw that. There is some fine print that the poster may be sold separately but there's no link to that at this point.

Surprising affordable, I pre-ordered the vinyl...

Me too. I really liked the last one from #13 but wasn’t fast enough on that either.

And any idea why is billy strings writing Jerry Garcia album liner notes?

Really?

I'm very impressed with Billy's skillz...

Twas there for this and a couple nights early at the Tower Theater and also the Capitol theater in Passaic a few days later.  Ritz was fun spot--the original was a much better vibe then when they moved to the old Studio 54 space sometime in the late 1980s--the original spot is Webster Hall.  Don't recall this as a stand-out show--the Tower was hot. I'll throw the money down for it.

I was at this show also. I don't recall how well it was played (often the situation) and I was hitting on my date. I do recall a friend reach around the bar and try to make off with a bottle of booze, he didn't succeed. We pleaded for him, he lived. We wound up in Times Square for the light show...

In my humble opinion, it was not a great tour--Jerry was not in top form.  I don't know, but would guess he was in the grip of the Persian Flu..at the time as he did not look healthy.  We were in the second row at the Tower and he seemed distracted.  I have seen the YouTube of the Capitol show and while never a spokesperson for Cross Fit, Jerry wasn't lookin great.  Still, there are always moments that make it all worth it. Funny, we wound up in Times Square too for some Rays pizza slices, piled into a cab and then when down to the Back Fence and Bitter End in the Village for some extra credit fun

ha I think we hit that underground bar Greensleeves? on St.Marks. At that time the East  Village and surrounds (Alphabets) was littered with cheap bars...

damn, now I'm jonesn for a gooey  Ray's slice or Mamoun's falafel...

I was at this show too.....the good old days!

Been there.  Done That.  Enjoyed.  PS: The best Rays was on 11th Street & 6th Ave.

That show at The Ritz SUCKED and these Jerry & Kahn acoustic shows were all fairly weak. A few years before 83? 84? were really good especially hearing hidden treasures that had not been played for a long time like Sing Me Back Home were a lot better in my opinion.

PS: The best Rays was on 11th Street & 6th Ave. >>>>>>>>>>>

The original and really the only Rays.

I agree. Especially their Sicilian pizza. Two types of cheese & extra yum onions.

Most corner NY neighborhood pizza is better than the majority of pizza in the US   haha

Even those joints in Penn Station, with a tall beer on the train home from a melty MSG GD show...

(Don't get me started on the hot doughy salty pretzels)

Hearing hidden treasures that had not been played for a long time>>>

If you were @ the Capital for 4/10/82, first of the solo dates, recognizing the return of these 5 after hearing a couple of words was off the charts.  Birthday show for me.

**Takes A Lot To Laugh had been played since at least early '72, first time seeing it live.**

Saw the duo with Kahn 11/84, health issues were front and center, short and sloppy performance..

We drove from Rochester to Passaic but I couldn't score a ticket.

I was able to attend The Beacon in April and it was really good to my ears.
