Good question, Felina. My problem with 2 1/2 Men is that the characters are fucking embarrassments to themselves, which make me more uncomfortable than amused. It's like laughing at the Special Olympics.
I don't find a whole hell of a lot of TV to be funny these days. It sure as hell ain't Seinfeld or MASH.
The Mick is just irreverent comedy, with the chick from Always Sunny.
That's why I had to strain when you asked what I thought was funny. I was trying to think of something newer, on network TV, and really had nothing.
There's a new show on Netflix called "The Santa Clarita Diet." It's somewhere between funny and bizarre. I watched 2 episodes and have no urge to watch more.
There's a reason why the animated shows break records for the number of seasons on air. The Simpsons were the first on the block but the best writers are now working for South Park and American Dad. If can't enjoy true satire then you don't actually like comedy.

What's some other stuff you find funny?
Like...if you consider Two and 1/2 Men funny, then we don't see funny the same way.
Thanks...

Especially when Doug Benson is on.
It's fun when the contestants are as stoned as the audience.

Yeah Floops, TV and funny don't really go hand in hand.
It amazes me every time I hear some comedy today using a laugh track.
It's embarrassing that a show today would want to do that. Cable has been the only place to find decent comedies for a long time.
Check out the Larry Sanders show if you ever get a chance--I bet you'd think that was funny.

I think some of it also has to do with the fact that the characters don't age Jonas.
But yeah, there' some great writing on those.
