my lil guy Rocky looking like a rock star on the beach, 12 years old no teeth and his tongue is always hanging out because of it, but he is still the greatest

Cool critter, Joe.

I recently took in two feral cats that turned ot to be incredibly loving, and great to talk to the last few months. I'm too low-tech and lazy to figure out posting pic's, though.

Have a grateful weekend all!

We took one in too Earl but it is nasty mean, always terrorizing the other cats.

Nice-looking Pets :)

Husky is beating the Heat,  swimming in the nearby Lake pretty often.

The other day he bolted out of the truck and chased some white Mallard Ducks.

They took H.I.M. for a good swim,  maybe 1/4 mile along the bank.  He eventually got tired and came back on land.

He's tried before.  The Ducks are too fast.

in the last week there have been 2 mice and 1 lizard brought into the bed in the middle of the night.

Hüsky murdered a Chicken couple weeks ago,  then some rodent the other day.  Fortunately he didn't drag them indoors.

My female cat brings small snakes and lizards in the house, too. I heard a good theory on why they do that... the old-school instinct to hunt and bring meat to the pack (pride- you know what I mean), so she figures she's adding to the food supply around here. The male does not bring critters in.

Whatta' ya' got?

^ I had Boy kittehs kill stuff and bring in the "tributes"  or leave on the back porch.  So it doesn't seem to be gender-based trait with Felines.

Yeah the general premise is the Cats are saying "Look what I brought Us !!"

OK thanks for the Headless Chipmunk,  buddy.
Some of those Cats left bigger rodents as well.  Headless Opossum,  snake... you name it.

btw - These snakes, etc. are never dead. She puts 'em down and starts playing with them until they are, or can find an escape spot.

Biggest things my cats left me was some nice size rats and a back half of a squirrel.

Unfortunately, the cats started getting lazy about the rodents and when we were having problems two years ago with rats getting into the chicken coop, the cats would get down and wound up ready to pounce, only to back off and just watch them.

My boy Roscoe yesterday thru a dirty basement slider door. I told him 'thanks man but you are not bringing that thing in here'
