Still in the midst of the second set. Yeah, great show selection for sure! Some might say they kind of jumped the shark on Don't Stop Tell You Get Enough, but I'm an easy customer and liked it. I think 2003 is an awesome year in that they still had a foot in the door of their old school ways inclinations, but were better musicians with an expanded catalog.
Yeah, I had to laugh at the MJ cover. I wonder what the conversation was around choosing that tune. "Okay we need a funk tune but the drummer has to sing falsetto....."

This was before Jason Hann joined the band. Bill Nershi had done a good job of keeping the electronica bullshit out of the band. Hann tipped the scales the other way. Sad day for sure.
