12/28:  Great show, one of my favorites from '82, raging first set.  Sloppy seconds, flubbed the vocals on all four songs before the drums.

Seeing the band return to the stage for another encore was a real treat (Also caught Greek '81 & '89).

Stop stuttering Howard

I went all five nights.

I went to the 27th - a smoker.

I have a sbd tape of the 28th- great Morning Dew.

that is all.

great sounding link krab thanx

We waited all night in line for tickets to this run, and in the morning found out that NYE was immediately sold out.

On NYE I was hanging out with my girlfriend in the park with a sign seeking tickets. A woman from the GD office spotted us, took us aside and sold us a pair of tickets at face value.

Ah, the ole wait in line for tickets overnight scenario.  Kids are missing out on that these days.

A couple of examples.

The last 5-night New Years run. I was sorry I didn't see one of these; only got 4 nights.

Was glad to be at the venue/run in '86.

Noice!

Darn iPhone triple entered the thread. This new interwebs thing is very confusing.

It was at the first night of that run when Bill Graham screamed at me on the steps in front of the hall.

Ruined my night, but kind of changed my life.

'82 was a good year for the Grateful Dead.

IMO.
