Good song Lance

Was just listening to  this show which I wasn't there but the tape got a lot of play.

Comes A Time

The whole second set is ingrained forever in my mind.

thanks for sharing, fellas

Thank you, those were both great!

Thanks for bumping a quality thread.

Good luck to you Lil.

The lines May you have a strong foundation / When the winds of changes shift are among my all-time favorites. They get me every time.

I wanted to bump this high quality thread one more time, but not for the reason you might think, and while it brings back a flood of memories, they are not the same as anyone's here.

You see, I was up the road in Santa Rosa getting married that very afternoon.

Of course my old high school friend/oldest friend in the world, who was responsible for turning me onto the GD, PLF, and many many other amazing bands, was at this show and told me all about what I had missed when he arrived just as the reception was ending.  I some FOMO, but only a little.  Heck, I was with the girl of my dreams (literally).

And I was reminded again yesterday of that day, but for a more bittersweet reason: Our first dance song was Songbird.

So RIP Christine McVie, you will always be part of our memories of that beautiful day.

For you, there'll be no more crying
For you, the sun will be shining
And I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never before

And I wish you all the love in the world
But most of all, I wish it from myself

And the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never before, like never before,
Like never before
