Thanks all. I appreciate it.
Thanks all. I appreciate it. I've been sleeping a bunch. I'm home now. I'm comfy in my bed in my cozy room at my friend's house watching YouTube or playing pinball on my phone. I have to do everything myself still, of course, but I take it easy. I made a nice breakfast for myself earlier. I'm going to wash my big blanket tomorrow morning and hang it out in the eastern sun. I'll probably take long hot showers. No tub; bummer that.
But otherwise, I'm fine. I feel a bit delicate, but part of that is facing my own mortality. A stent fell and they fixed it. I should be at the same level as previously... I hope.
Also, qua the needed residency, I think I've got it. Fingers crossed. I AM that much closer to working again, and to having a real life. And thank god it's teaching. I can do a lot of that from home online, which is an unexpectedly awesome effect of covid on our cultures. Some teachers hate it, but I love it. I can get them to focus better, actually. I do teach adults.
Anyway, I'm me. I'm okay. I'm even cooking up an interesting entry for my Grammar Notebook. It's time to define the verb "to define."
