Five Years ago, I drove out to Pennsylvania to Spring Hüsky from the no-kill shelter.
He's still alive and Well.
His hair is Perfect
Not sure which actual calendar date Easter was back then; they change it every year for the Lunar cycle.
Anyway he had a nice Rib-Eye cow steak for lunch.
Yeah it's his Birthday too this month. Taurus Dawg.

How much in fines has he cost
How much in fines has he cost ya ?
My brother has a husky, its downright incorrigible. Had it for 6 years.
The other day he told me it's costs him over a grand in fines ( getting loose, harassing chickens, rabbits, etc etc) ,,,,, so far.

Actually he's never incurred any fines / citations. Township license is 7 or 8 bucks per year, but they have "Free Rabies Clinic" every year so he gets the jab at no additional charge, every other year.
Killed the neighbor's Guinea Hen and attacked the Rooster, but the Rooster survived by playing Dead.
He's been quite healthy so minimal veterinary bills. Usual meds for Heartworm and other potential parasites; I get those from Australia without a prescription. "Hoof & Hound" ships them out.
Chewed up a bunch of sunglasses, shoes, Cel fones and stuff when younger. Steals Bacon, Steaks and other high-value food opportunistically.
Otherwise, he's been a low-budget Animal. Provides plenty of free entertainment and Exercise counseling.

Hüsky has thrived and adapted over his Time, and lived a Cushy Lifestyle.
People say "Oh He is so well-behaved" or "I've never seen a Wolf that responds so perfectly !!"
Actually it's been Five Years of constant mutual adaptation, and teaching acceptable behaviours within various Environments.
He can basically go anywhere and do anything now, except Swim in the Ocean.
Hüsky will swim in Lakes, Rivers, Creeks and Bays but not The Ocean.
Very strong Swimmer, but no Ocean for H.I.M.
