First Shots Fired in Civil War

Forums:

Protesters in Albuquerque wrapped a chain around the neck of a bronze statue and began tugging, chanting, “Tear it down,” shortly before sunset on Monday. Their efforts to pull down a monument of Spanish conquistador Juan de Oñate suddenly stopped as four shots rang out.

Ironic that these militia guys would come to the rescue of statue honoring a Hispanic illegal immigrant (Juan de Oñate was from  Zacatecas, Mexico) who came up from Mexico and caused all sorts of trouble for the native born locals.

Isn’t it, though?

or is it just a matter of them wanting to fight over literally anything that the people they hate wish to change?

The people who think trump is a Christian are the same people who think Obama is a Muslim.

New New Mexico...

bringing firearms to protests or anywhere in public spaces is seriously fucked up.

weak minded small dick kooks.

The mal-liscous are their own worst enemy and are too stupid to realize it.  The data base grows every day of their personal information and activity.  Uncle Sam is going to be rounding them up soon.

I’ve tried to have this conversation with the gun rights folks. Every year the support for reasonable gun restrictions grows and every year the NRA pushes back with ever more unpopular easing of gun restrictions. We are now arming teachers, protesters walking through state houses looking like narco comandante’s, and open carry idiots in Starbucks and Walmart.  Gun owners are literally putting their right to own guns in the hands of militia protesters, because when the George Floyd or MADD tipping point happens the face of gun owners will be the militias not responsible gun owners, and in a few short years owning a gun will be as easy as smoking in a restaurant.

Right.  I generally support the right of responsible gun ownership, which extends to the right to open carry.  However, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.   These idiots walking around town, going to Starbucks, or showing up at protests armed to the teeth and dressed up for battle aren't doing their cause any good.
