We did really well in Oregon. Governor Kate Brown easily defeated her GOP challenger, Knute Buehler, despite predictions of a tight race and Buehler receiving more campaign cash (including $2.5 million from Nike founder Phil Knight).
Every one of the many ballot measures put out by the GOP was shot down by wide margins and the Dems now have super majorities in both houses of the state legislature.
It was a good night for the dems. Can’t get too down about not winning in Texas, Georgia and Florida. Florida always confuses me but then I remember that it probably gets 50,000 new old white residents a year and then it starts to make sense.
What is up with 34% of Latino Women voting for Cruz. We live in a Barnum and Baily world.
