A friend of mine is an old time LAmbs fan who sort of gave up on them when they moved to St. Louis. He just texted me saying he & his son flew to LA this morning and are heading into the rickety, legendary old Los Angeles Coliseum now. Good for him.
GO TO THE GAME!
(I think the LAmbs will be picking their teeth with Falcons bones at the end of the game.)
It's not a video game you know. One injury will ruin a chance at a championship. Philly was poised to win it all, but now they'll likely be one-and-done.
The Rams have a real chance, but if any one of their big three guys got hurt in a meaningless game in Week 17 that would have been the end of them.
If they had a bye this week it would have been a different thing, but one week off to not play in a scrimmage isn't going to hurt anything.
If they lose it won't be because some of their guys got a week off.

I'm with you on that thought, particularly with such a young team with new found success. The loss of Greg Zuerlein was not good either.
