Extra Nick Mason 9-26 Cap

Forums:

Hello zones.  I have an extra ticket (center mezzanine) for Nick Mason Monday night.  I'll meet you at the show and we can transfer it.

Awesome, someone grab this.no Pink Floyd fan should miss an opportunity to see this band

What a great show, hope someone ended up with this ticket. Highlights for me were:

One Of These days

Astronomy Domain

Set The Controls For the Heart Of the Sun

Fearless

Echoes

An unfinished song by Syd Barret that I can't remember the name of.

No short versions here, all the long drawn out versions that really set the mood.

And all pre- Dark Side, which is my favorite Floyd. It's great to watch something you'd thought you'd never see.

Vegetable Man

Hey Buck, how do you download torrent form site?

I use U-torrent to download the show

https://www.utorrent.com/

and then convert the files in Traders Little Helper.

Looking forward to Fridays shoe at Fox Oakland!

2019's Masonic show was one the highlights  for me

looks like a 2 set show now...

<<<I love me a set break>>>

Yea the set break is nice and the set closers are just unreal. The legit oil lights and projections are fantastic and both Lee and Dom are wizards... and Nick gets a vocal cameo this time around!

What a great shoe.

Yes! Good show indeed. Buckle up and set your controls!

if anyone hears of a live stream post it here

got a friend on the DL who'll miss the shoe...

TIA

Nick encouraged taping and video-recording at the show I saw on Wed night in Santa Barbara but asked those wishing to do so to simply dim the screens.

Strawbud was that at the SB Bowl?

would love to see this band outdoors.

I think the visuals projected inside the Fox will be special tonite

Meltintheseat...

^No, Arlington Theater which is a pretty sweet little downtown venue all by itself. The entryway and adjacent areas are actually "outside" and fresh-air accessible while the interior performance space is very well-done to mimic the outdoors, complete with a courtyard motif and dimly lit stars and sky paint job. It felt like an outdoor show....and the smoking section actually barred cigarettes (LOL) which I have seen before at CA shows too. The break was about 20 minutes and "security" was extremely loose/non-existent, whereby anyone passing by could have simply walked right in for Set 2. I can't imagine that it was any different for TAB a couple weeks back either.

I had to laugh, being Reagan Country and all, that the bar tenders were clean-shaven, short-haired, and seemingly very straight-laced and buttoned down. No tattoos, long hair, or piercings on any of the staff for that matter. It was also funny (to me anyway) that about half of the audience seemed to be British, with heavy accents and all. LOL

...I have nothing at all against Brits and clearly understand Pink Floyd as a quality UK export but their concentration was very notable. Also, I went out to my car (off-site street parked) and nobody checked anything when I went back inside. I had a very good time and am glad I made the trek. They played LA on Tues and I would have caught that one instead but I already had Wolf Bros tix - a show I also really enjoyed. By the way, it was noteworthy and somewhat surprising that the crowd did not get excited when Mayer came out to join the band for the second set.
