I applaud Ed Cunningham for having the courage to stand up for his convictions. He walked away from a dream gig because he couldn't endorse the product anymore. That takes guts.
Ed went to the same high school as me. He graduated two years after I did. We both played football there. We made it to the AAA State Semi-Finals my Senior year, then Ed and his teammates won the State Championship the next year. Ed also won an NCAA championship as a member of the University of Washington Huskies' 1991 squad, then had a 5 year NFL career.
