Dream show (one upcoming you wish you could attend)

Forums:

Eric Clapton at Royal Albert Hall

Are there any U.K. Zoner's I can visit?! Lol

Wish I could go with you.

the return of the david nelson band

Brilliant minds, 6....;)

Pink Floyd at The Wall in Mexico   ;)

All those Phish shows at Madison Square Garden.

Sounds like big fun.

Won't make any of 'em.

DNB, a few nights in a row, someplace easy to get to.....

Anything in San Francisco with my dearly missed friends and family indecision

There's just nothing else like it, Lance.

I've been doing it for 24 years and I've missed a few, but I moved heaven and earth personally to get there this year just to be ::there::

It's like an little piece of Eternity you get to slip in to once a year and when Phish is really on, there's no other place I'd rather be.  I've rung in the New Year from every corner of that building.

12/30/16 was a pretty perfect show, top to bottom, and 12/31 was so much gosh darn fun, I was halfway through the third set before I realized Trey was Big Boating us.  Best Petrichoir ever?

Let's get you there one of these years.

You deserve it.

The shows that always pulling at me are favorite artists in ridiculous venues like Gilmour at Pompeii or Nelson in Hawaii in a field of unicorns under a waterfall or Steve Malkmus covering Can in Germany.

King Diamond at the Palacio de Deportes in Mexico City....  damn.

The public hanging and resulting castration of Donald Trump...

Wishing for a future DNB or Phil or LOS show in Hawaii.

Stanley hotel LOS shows are another on my dream list.

Trailhead, I like your train of thought.

I'll buy a VIP ticket to that one.

Phil Lesh and the triumphant return of Steve Kimock.

See McLaughlin/Herring threadyes

Yes, a dream show is David Nelson back in the saddle...

I hope to catch 4 or 5 of the MSG Phish shows... gonna be hot!

Trailhead, I like your style.

Not a dream show per se but sorry to miss Voodoo Dad this time around.  Really enjoyed it last year.

Weir is coming up, the only Grateful Dead to play Mobile since Planet Drum.  Going for Kimock mostly.

McLaughlin/Herring is booked as is what could be my last travel to a show, King Crimson in NJ.

With my sister and I in charge of our elderly parents, she having more of it than I do, I have to spend at least two days a week doing stuff for them.

That and working with a keyboardist and bassist; if we can round up a jammy drummer I will be more interested in making music than consuming it with less time and all.

Clock keeps ticking.

aiq, I may have mentioned it, but in case I didn't, there is a Caregivers folder - I've just returned from taking care of my elderly parents and will be checking in there. If you want to vent, get support, share, whatever, use it.

I had to bale on the Mcherring show in New Orleans too, Aiq. Same reason, I spend days off helping the folks. Don't want to make ANY plans like that.

Nothing spectacular locally coming up. Got some good Cajun music coming up at a local fest in a couple of months. Crawfish and music is always a blast. Mudbug Madness Festival.

The next Q show at TXR.

I'm looking forward to seeing Beethoven's Symphony #9 conducted by Gustavo Dudamel at the Hollywood Bowl this summer. I saw him conduct an evening of Gershwin and Ravel last summer and I really liked his style.

I also still need to bust my TXR cherry. A solid P&F line up would be nice.

Wow. I guess Eric Clapton at Albert Hall.

Thanks judit.  I will check it out.  Certainly is a process and one learns some interesting things about family members.
