Dr. Bronner

Forums:

Good soap, bad soap?  What are Zoner opinion on this product? Koolaid marketing?

I recently stayed in an Airbnb in Vermont and the house was full of this product. Kitchen sink, laundry, bathroom sinks hand soap, shower shampoo, body soap, cleaning supplies, toothpaste, car wash, everywhere.  Hemp, peppermint, tea, many "flavors".

I liked it, shower soap was very strong, good for hippies?  :-)

I love the peppermint solid bar soap. It's all good. It's All One!

Keep it out of the lakes and rivers.  Mother Nature bathes without the aid of soap...

i like it.

and dude donates to MAPS:)

Keep a bottle in my soap supply.

Although, this thread is specifically focused on Dr. Bronner Soap Products, I recently discovered this particular company making natural soaps for men and am thinking of ordering some to try it out:

Any Zoner guys out there that use, or have used Dr. Squatch soap?

I like how it makes my balls feel all cool and refreshed.

A bar of peppermint always goes on the road with me.

It's like a York Peppermint patty for your undercarriage

Eucalyptus great for dogs with fleas just lather up and leave on for a few minutes and rinse

I use the 18 - 1 castille as shampoo / shower wash  ... having oily hair (what's left), it helps a lot.

Learned about this after going to some shows with a girl who has full on super frizzy puffed out hair.

All one! Dilute Dilute!

we used to call the peppermint liquid the ole tingledick.

Castille soap. it works.

19th Function of Dr, B's Liquid Peppermint Soap:
It changes color below 32 degrees - goes from yellow to brown.

Do the Dr. Bronner soap products still have all those weird, quasi-religious rantings on the labels? Guess it was a good gimmick to get hippies to use soap.

>>>Dr. Squatch soap

Sasquatch is known for its foul odor.  Wonder how that works as a marketing gag for soap?

How to keep hippies out of your stash?   Hide it under the soap.

We use Bronners 18 in 1 for a lot of purposes at home, camping (including festivals), and general traveling. its always part of our travel/camping supplies. My wife generally uses unscented but I like the peppermint (for the refreshing aspect) or almond. One is always in my travel bin for remote fieldwork.

They change the gibberish on there frequently.  It's anti Trump stuff now

I like it.  I've been using it when travelling or camping for over 20 years now.  Just used it today.  Made me feel like a new man after a full day of state fair vending.  I washed off the carnie funk!

Best stuff ever made I never leave home without a small bottle of peppermint. And if you are gonna wash in a river there is really nothing bad at all in it.

Really what variety? Just bought the large peppermint a few days ago maybe I will take a better look next shower time. I do know the family made a statement against the travel ban sometime ago though.

hey man, you should also try this new fresh scent called patchouli.

I use a few DB products. Good stuff. I also use a line from Meyers.

There's a bottle of Liquid Tea-Tree DB in my shower.  Have not read the tiny print yet.  Exceptions eternal? Absolute none !!

This thread reminds me of an NPR piece that I heard in the car earlier this year:

i prefer kirk's coco castile...cheaper, more suds, less foo-foo smells, still natural hippie soap, leaves my skin softer and cleaner than bronners seems to

One of the few natural products companies that hasn't "sold out" to big business.

If you are for keeping it wierd, and keeping it real, that's a good soap company for you.

Their cinnamon toothpaste is pretty good.
