Back To the Islands
Tour! Hawaii 2020!

Aloha, DNB Ohana! We’ve got some big news… CBGB Presents -the David Nelson Band's 'Back The Islands Tour – Hawaii 2020'!
We will start on the Big Island February 23-29 with 5 shows. From there we’ll go to Maui for 4 more shows from March 3-7.
Most of the venues on both islands will be outdoors and all ages. Several shows will be on the beach or close to the water.
Our hosts have found some wonderful locations where we can all freak freely and there will be
days off for relaxation between shows on both islands. More details on venues and ticket sales coming soon…

Nice!

CBGB Presents

Dan, don't forget the kerosine...

A leap day show. Rare

Excellent!  There's never been a bad day in paradise when you are on Nelson time.

Who has my morning tropical fruit parfait?

9 shows??

wow man.

Wow!!!  On Facebook, Vince Herman said “I’m in!”

Cant wait to hear the Maui venues so I can figure out lodging.

Great news!

This place is available for the Maui dates, sleeps 6.

'

staying tuned for big island locales...

probably will pass on maui this time. i can't do the whole trip and have only been to the big island 1x briefly.

Good flight pricing right now from west coast -- Alaska Air is running a sale through December 9 -- use the fare calendar option to find best pricing if you have flexibility on travel days.

Definitely interested in this one. Big Island only, but love the B.I. !!

Snorkeling and DNB what could be better ? Well, maybe a Sac>>Kona non-stop flight, but that's about all.

For past DNB Hawaii runs -- has anyone ever rented a VW Camper van?

One of the things that makes travel to Hawaii expensive is the need to rent a car -- haven't looked to see if Lyft / Uber has reached the islands, yet!

Renting a camper van might help by combining car rental and lodging costs -- but doesn't really solve the problem of needing a shower, does it?

LLOLLO,

Garyfish has some Hawaii campervan tales...

Only went to Maui portion one Winter.  I was able to take the Bus to North Shore and stayed at a Hostel a couple days,  maybe Banana Bob ?

However,  it would have been difficult getting to all the show locations without assistance from pals from OR who had a rental car.

Camper van could work,  there are showers on some beaches.

Or the Ocean cleans up the skin pretty well,  but makes your hair funny.

Would like to attend these,  but the biggest logistical hurdle is Dog - Maintenance.

He's been with awesome Sitters; still misses me when I'm away for a few days.

I miss H.I.M. too.

Be great if I could fly the Dog there and back again.  He's into travel.

Thanks Walstib and Disco -- I'm hoping to see Garyfish at shows in December, so will remember to ask him for stories.

Disco, if you took your dog there, it would have to be in quarantine for several weeks -- or it used to be that way.

LLOLLO --

No way I'm bringing Hüsky out for DNB island tour.  But,  he would enjoy the travel.  Crazy animal likes to go places.  He likes the Beach (Atlantic Ocean side) and has been there many times.

Unfortunately,  he's scared of actually swimming in the Ocean.  Lakes,  Rivers,  the Bay are fine.

I think the waves are what frighten H.I.M.

The waves and the SHARKS!

Probably he is afraid of the Sharks.  Yet,  the brave Labradors frolic in the surf and chase tennis balls.

I tell H.I.M.  "Look HÜsky !! See the Labradors in the surf ! "

And ... he wants no part of it.

Tidal pools are fine.  The Bay is just peachy.  So it's not the salt water that is scary.

All the wet sand is absolutely perfect.  It's liek,  fake Snow.

Perhaps I should bring H.I.M. to Dog Ocean Therapist ?

Does anyone want to plan a Zoner HQ, a shared place we can all stay at for the second half of DNB in Maui?  I would be into something like that.

I like your idea, China. Will research larger AirBnBs!

From a Facebook search in the DNB group, I found that some shows were on Hana side, and there was discussion of booking these cool state park cabins that sleep 6 -- only $90 per night per cabin! A few are already booked for DNB week. They also have spots for camper vans.

*correction: the info I found above on FB was from 2017 -- didn't want anyone to think that this info is for 2020!

the kona coffee is percolating...

^^^ Does anyone want to plan a Zoner HQ, a shared place we can all stay at for the second half of DNB in Maui?  I would be into something like that.

I would definitely be into shared accommodations on Maui... my email is in my Viva profile

I'm having a hard time finding any place to stay on Maui that's what I would call reasonably priced...  heck, I'd be happy with floor space

Should I call Lucas?

Wish they would play in Kauai too. Sigh.

Wish they would play in Kauai too. Sigh.

We did campervan thing in 13 &14 on Maui. Tough to find a reliable one at a price comparable to a decent hotel room, but it can be done. My advice is if you don’t know about vehicle maintenance and what questions to ask the owner before reserving, this is probably not a good option for you. If you do, proceed. Don’t rent a Volkswagen. Just don’t. Camping around makena was no problem and all of the state parks have outdoor showers as well. Camping out at kipahulu side near Oheo gulch was like $10 per night in the national park cg and you can stay for 2 weeks. Mostly we were the only campers there. Gas is expensive on Maui. Don’t use your horn in Hawaii. Looking like it’s gonna be all outdoor venues this year!

Hawaii roads are narrow and challenging with a large vehicles. Driving at night between Pahoa and Kona (and any remote area) can be trying.

Might be able to hit the BI afterall! Hopeful...

Homeaway.com has a number of car camping options on Maui.

That being said, anybody want to split a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in Wailea?

Well, I've owned three 70s era Westys...and agree that renting them requires fearlessness and DIY skills.

That being said, ;) Zooey, please send me the link to that condo! email in my profile...

^^^ but Llollo... I thought you were "all in" on helping to find a "Zoner house" for the Maui portion of the run

laugh

I'll be staying home, but it sounds like there will be some real good stories from this tour!

Go crazy folks, and be sure to report back.

GaryFish! I talked to Zooey earlier and realized that I’d prefer a house... with the goal of getting the price per head under $100 per person per night.  So, I sent several links to Chinarider for larger houses that sleep 6-12... none are beachfront... but one in Lahaina is close to the beach. The others are upcountry locations but really cool spots. I’ll add the links to this thread in the morn and we can see who wants to participate.

Here's a 5bdr in Kona for only $155 / night -- https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/vac/d/kailua-kona-well-furnished-kon...

I have friends to stay with on Big Island...so not really hunting there.

Check your local Craigslist or Nextdoor.com -- I've found that people like to rent via Craigslist to avoid all the fees.

I might be interested in going in on a big house in Maui.

This one looks nice near Paia, sleeps 8:

https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p7182073?adultsCount=2&arrival=...

Hope You ALL Have A GREAT Time In HAWAII !

1 > Imagine what fun THIS place would be....I'm scared to ask the price, but it's fun to dream.... it's a 10-person capacity beach house that was grandfathered in to the hotel zone on the south shore.

"Nothing but your hammock, hot tub, pool and a beautiful wide grass lawn come between your home and the Pacific ocean.
For additional accommodations, rent the Wailea Sunset Cottage together with the Wailea Sunset Estate for a total of 2 outdoor spa tubs and as many as 6 bedrooms with 6.5 bathrooms."

https://www.maui.cc/WaileaSunsetEstate.html

2> This 14-person cute compound with cottages in the upcountry, near Makawao, could actually work out to be a good deal ($77/ per person per night) -- not far from beaches in Paia.  Unfortunately many key images are missing, and  supposedly there is a pool and hot tub! I'm going to follow up on this one to ask for images. I don't mind traveling to a different beach every day  to save $$ - beachfront isn't critical to me. https://www.maui.cc/BanyanTree.html

3> Wow, for $30 more per night ($100 per person -- max 10 people, 2 per bdr) look what you get with this one -- in upcountry Haiku...just up the hill from Paia -- but w/ amazing views and amenities: https://www.maui.cc/Pili/Pililani-rates.html  These larger homes may also have noise restrictions -- quiet time at this one is 9pm to 8am...but that's music time anyhow!

LLOLLO = You Are RAD !!

I'm all set with my accommodations on the Big Island... not so on Maui.

I agree with Llollo about keeping it under $100 per person per night... and, as I stated previously, I would be perfectly comfortable with floor space instead of a private room.

So far, by my count, there's only 4 or 5 of us who have expressed interest in sharing a Maui house, so we probably don't need to go super-big (and expensive!) like the link that Zooey posted about the Paia house that sleeps 8. And, Llollo's  10-person and 14-person houses seem really way too big... but who am I to say...

A house closer to Kihei might be preferable, as I've heard thru the rumor mill that at least 2 of the 4 Maui shows are likely to be in or near Kihei.

just my $0.02

Thanks Garyfish, will research Kihei more thoroughly... travel planning is a hobby I love!

"Peter Rowan and Dave Nelson and Freinds featuring Eric and Suzy Thompson and more"

Jeez Freight & Salvage, no one proofs the adds before they go out?

Tacky.

Still, I'll probably go to this.

WALSTIB  Thanks for Heads up !!  April 3.

I started looking at flights to OGG, the first week in March is going to be awesome! I plan to go from weekend to weekend, so arriving a few days before the first DNB show.

Here are names I noted of interested Maui Zoners who want to share a house -- please add your name and if you are bringing a +1, and whether you are willing to snore with a roommate -- so I can search for just the right size.

Dates would be approximately March 1 - March 8... depending on rental minimum.

  1. Me ~ +1
  2. Zooey
  3. Garyfish
  4. ChinaRider

I'm jumping from the BI to Maui on March 2, and flying out of OGG back to the mainland on March 10. From past DNB Hawaii tours, I've learned that leaving Paradise too quickly after the final show is not the best for my body, mind and soul. I've found I need one, preferably two, full days afterwards to bask in the Aloha vibe, to do any activities that I was unable to squeeze in earlier, and/or to just r-e-l-a-x. YMMV. Plus, flying on a Monday is invariably WAY more expensive than on Tues. thru Thurs.

Looking at the Craigslist links that Llollo posted above, it's hard for me to believe those advertised prices are on the up-and-up. I'd much rather go thru an established company that does vacation rentals such as HomeAway, VRBO, Airbnb, FlipKey, et al.

As for location, I would advise against a Lahaina-area rental (unless there's a show up that way, which IMO is doubtful). The tourist traffic to and from the Lahaina area can get downright bumper-to-bumper at certain times of the day and evening. Plus, in my experience the snorkeling and beaches are way better in Kihei and points south.

a quick search on Homeaway.com turned up the following place:

https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p237999vb?adultsCount=6&arrival...

I'm sure we'll come up with something we'll all agree on, eventually. But nailing a place down SOON would be more to my liking.

word on the street is that the Hawaii venues and ticket packages may be announced during the upcoming Hopmonk-TXR shows... stay tuned

and a final quick tip... if you haven't already booked your flights, Cyber Monday usually has some of the lowest fares out there... don't forget to check Southwest Airlines, which is a new option for us Hawaii-goers, and their listings don't appear in the usual air-travel search sites such as kayak.com ... plus, Southwest doesn't charge you for your first TWO checked bags, a substantial savings over all the other airlines

Wise comments Garyfish -- I agree about staying 2 days later if possible after it's all over..though sometimes I do that at home....Zooey is looking at places too -- we'll land on something....

Looks like if it's just the 4-person list above, we'd need a 4 bedroom place, yes?

Is there a Zoner Big Island house? looks like all the shows will be on the Kona leeward-side...

gfish and i have a small condo kona area.

Cyber Monday deals, flight is booked!  It will help to know the Maui show locations, maybe one place is good for the entire week or maybe it will work out better to look for two places.  Shows are probably Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday/Saturday.

Think the announcement will come this week. The DNB website was just updated, but still no Hawaii info...

http://www.nelsonband.com/

Hey Zooey, Garyfish and Chinarider -- I realize you want to book your Maui lodging very soon.

Last night I realized that I rather wait for official confirmation of dates / venues, and due to limited cashflow in December, I want to focus on a flight first.

This means I am going to back out of the HQ group rental idea in Kihei -- prices are too high for houses there.

Nothing personal, but I think I want to base myself elsewhere on Maui, or in a camper van.

Book away without me!

<<<<<The DNB website was just updated, but still no Hawaii info...>>>>>>

The DNB website was more than updated, It's a freaking brand new website!

I have working furiously for the last week getting it ready. Stay tuned for Hawaii venues now that the new site is live.........BB

The web site looks sharp!   Excellent work!

Really good job on the site dan. When I saw it last night, I thought to myself it must have been at least ten years since the DNB page got a facelift!

The site was built 2 years ago........it took this long to get it live..........nelson time

Great job, BB!

nice BB!

how the F is big sur not sold out?

Is he playing Hana again? If so it's not possible to commute for those shows from Kihei area and back the same day unless you want to travel at night on that scary road.

Very nice, Dan. The site is easy to navigate and find what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Agree, Turtle -- surprised that Big Sur hasn't sold out if the capacity is less than 200!

And I still need to sell one ticket for both nights....can't find an additional Oregonian to travel, LOL.

^^
no Judit?

I DID ask Judit and offered to pick her up in Eugene!

Offer still stands, Judit!

long range weather forecast for Big Sur looks great. Hiking, camping and freaking freely...

Thanks for thinking of me, Treeflo and LLOLLO. I love Zoners.

I also love being home without traveling, just being here, so no. I want to seriously contemplate DNB on the Big Island but can't quite get there in my mind.

>>Long rang forecast for Big Sur is looking good<<

Good thing cause its pouring down here now. Over 20 inches this week.
Good mushroom foraging next week

tflo email me Rob ~ rob sties 805 at gmail thx..

I don't think we have enough zoners going to get a big house on Maui but maybe a few 2 bedroom to share with 2-3 people?

Hey Mr. Disco Stu, send me an email if you are interested, GaryFish? Anyone else?  I'll probably wait a week or so before booking anything.  The camper/caravan vehicle thing is also an option and has advantage of not requiring additional car rental.  I'm getting to OGG on 2/29.

Venues!

DNB-Hawaii-2020-Handbill.jpg

Yes Kihei would be the wise choice here

Tickets Go On Sale Sunday-December 8th!

Got a Suite at the (Jodo) Mission...

awesome-looking venue

Have Super DNB Fun !!

hey bruddah!

this makes me wanna bounce over to maui...

Turtle...go for it!

Love that camping is available at VFW, that rocks! Excited to hear more about the upcountry venue, too.

Here's the other image from the website:

https://www.outdoorsy.com/rv-search?bounds%5Bne%5D=21.00627067074109%2C-...

I'm liking the idea of renting a camper van even more, given the geographical distribution of the venues....

If you have a car on the Big Island this place is cheap. 12 miles(20 minutes) south of the Hale Halawai show and 16 miles(30 minutes) south of the BGFC shows. Basic rooms and the oldest restaurant in Hawaii. Not sure how safe it is but gets great reviews for a basic room with no TV. Must be close to the south Kona show.

https://www.managohotel.com/rooms-rates/

Less than $500 a week for a single all the way up to Quad room.

I like that Japanese-style room -- looks like it has a view, too! Thanks for posting!

Safety not an issue. Stayed at the Manago every DNB Big Isle run. The real upshot is it proximity to the best snorkeling sites on the  island...Get up early and swim with the dolphins at two-step! That poster claims there is camping @VHW Kihei.

If you stay there it's recommended to have ear plugs at night because of the frogs chirping and roosters crowing.

Sounds like a unique taste of the old Hawaii. Not for everyone for sure.

https://howsitgoing-eh.com/tag/manago-hotel/

@WALSTIB Are the Pork Chops as good as the reviews? Or the other food there for that matter?

The Manago is a classic! I first stayed there in 1986, and I doubt it's changed much.

In other news, we're booked for the Big Island!

1/2 Nelson BI

all set

Thought others might appreciate this.....I created a semi-private Google map with the locations of each show: https://goo.gl/maps/if5kJVjN4mmGBUpK7

Touring with technology, LOL.

Aloha.  does anyone know how to buy the Maui 1/2 Nelson Package?
I can only see the individual show tickets. Thanks!

http://www.nelsonband.com/2019/12/hawaii-back-to-the-islands-2020-2/

China,  that page has the details of 1/2 Nelson and Full Nelson tickets.

Have been considering either Big Island or Maui DNB but the 15 + hour airport ordeal from East Coast has stalled me.

HI Stu, don't let the long trip stop you!  I'm aso going from the East Coast.

That is the web page I have been looking at... http://www.nelsonband.com/2019/12/hawaii-back-to-the-islands-2020-2/

TICKET DETAILS & PRICING:
Full Nelson & Half Nelson Packages include commemorative laminate!!
Keepsake Laminate is your TICKET to freak freely and must be displayed for entry to each show ticketed for.
Keepsake Laminate will be provided at FIRST show attended.
Keepsake Laminate available for Full Nelson & Half Nelson purchases only.

FULL NELSON – $490 (Paypal & Mail Only)
Attend ALL (9) NINE SHOWS – 5 Big Island & 4 Maui

HALF NELSON – $215 or $275 (Paypal & Mail Only)
Maui – 4 SHOWS – $215.00
Big Island – 5 SHOWS – $275.00

Where do I get the 1/2 Nelson Maui Package for $215? I only see links to individual show tickets.

China --

My look at that web page leads me to believe that they want you to send paypal or USPS money order for the package deal,  either 1/2 or Full Nelson.

Don't think that there is one direct interweb link to plunk down a credit card # for the package(s).

So my belief at this point -- about 2 grand for airfare,  DNB tickets and lodging.  Not really a bad price for a taste of Paradise.  Phish at MSG would be about the same tariff if you went to all 4 nights and stayed in Manhattan.  I'd rather do the Whale Boat and puff thin Havana on Maui.

However,  my biggest concern is "Where to leave Pet Wolf / Hüsky ??"  Because he can't attend,  and misses his pet Hu-person when I'm away.

Aside from H.I.M.  I would pawn a Martin and go for it.
Actually,  I really don't want any of my Martin guitars to be in the pawn shoppe.  And Husky would like DNB shows,  but no Pets Allowed.

Well maybe you are right, just PayPal $215 and they know I want the Maui 1/2 Nelson Package?
Regarding airfare, 2K no way.  I got roundtrip from ROC to OGG for $620.

I'm still figuring out lodging...

Yes, PayPal or USPS money order. If you are uncertain about ordering, you can email or call Gloria Brimer (she is the promoter) and she will answer your questions about full/half Nelson lammies. Her contact info is on the poster.

Thank you Bss.

":Regarding airfare, 2K no way.  I got roundtrip from ROC to OGG for $620..."

Yeah,  air from PHL / EWR / JFK is around 6-700 with Maui slightly less than Big Island.
The 2K number would include air,  lodging,  tickets,  food,  incidentals.

Disco, if you fly RT to Maui instead of Big Island, it doesn't cost much to get a Hawaiian Air flight RT to Big Island.

For those doing Full Nelson, that routing makes more sense to me....then you're on your departure island at end of full run.

I've always flown to one island and home from the other. Then you only need one hopper flight.

beginning today (Dec. 30): low, low prices on airfare to Hawaii from both the east and west coasts... these deals won't last long --

https://beatofhawaii.com/united-airlines-hawaii-deals/

airfare prices continue to be very low to from certain west-coast airports to Hawaii:

https://beatofhawaii.com/139-flights-to-hawaii-airfare-war-today/

Happy New Year, Gary, and thanks for the price info.

Reviving this thread:

There is a more complete info page on the Hawaii run posted on Jan 11 here: http://www.nelsonband.com/2019/12/hawaii-back-to-the-islands-2020-2/   I was cracking up the other night when I noticed the BYOB for all shows... is that the usual in Hawaii? That would never happen in Oregon!  But glad for that as I bet the bars in Hawaii are tourist traps.

I'm doing a 3/4 Nelson!  Arriving 2/25 to Kona in the evening... so will go to the shows on 2/26, 28 and 29. Because my friends live on Hilo side, I'm looking for a place to crash on the 25th and 26th. I've never been to Big Island before, so Kona recommendations are welcome if you've got 'em. I'll stay w/ friends on the 27th and 28th.

Just booked a well-priced AirBnB room on a farm only a 1/2 mile walk from Glori's place for the 29th...then will move on to Maui on the 1st.

I'm trying not to rent a car on the Big Island, so if you see me w/ a thumb out trying to go the airport on the first, please pick me up.;) Going to research buses and Lyft too... but it's a 90 minute drive from Glori's to KOA.

AIRFARES! There are still deals showing on Google Flights - - even found a $304 RT Portland > Kona -- amazing price.

So ready for a vacation... haven't been to the islands since the late 90s.

been getting excited. i hope they play as well as they did in big sur.

just doing BI.

Right, Turtle? --- Big Sur groove X 9!

Until the 26th!

Big Island venue change...

Aloha Freaks,
Due to management, rules and policy changes at Big Game Fish Club, we’ve decided to move the scheduled shows there to two cool new venues that will be more accommodating to the vibe of our Ohana.

The 2/25 show has been moved to: Hale Nui o Makaeo

The 2/26 show has been moved to: Haipule o Honaunau @ 2 Step

well that's interesting....

its kinda not entirely clear where the shows are....like most of them...?

I am in the process of getting physical street address' for the new venues.
Will post on DNB tour dates page when I get them. Aloha!

DNB HI 2020 PROMO POSTER EDITED.jpg

Ouch, bummer. That was such a perfect show venue.

One must click into each ticket page to see the addresses.... I'm going to work on editing my Google trip map later....

Hale Nui o Makaeo
Old Airport Pavillion @ Old A's
Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

Haipule o Honaunau (View)
@ 2 Step
Honaunau, HI 96726

BudBoy -- the tiny  "View" links on the Brown Paper Ticket pages are pointing to map views of the old addresses, which will cause confusion!

Here is addy for 2/25.......

Hale Nui o Makaeo Old A's Pavillion
75-5560 Kuakini Highway
Kailua Kona HI 9740

Haipule o Honaunau 2 Step has no physical address.
For directions, one would google 2 step which is on Honaunau Beach Road.

I am seeing the right maps on BPT links. ??????

Thanks Budboy! Here's the Google link to Two-Step Nature Preserve / Park.... can you confirm that this is correct?

Need to rethink my lodging for 25th / 26th given this location change.... fortunately I haven't booked anything yet.

Also, though I wasn't planning to go to the show on the 25th, as my flight arrives at 8:45pm, how late will that show run, since that old airport park is in central Kona town?

> I am seeing the right maps on BPT links. ??????

You are correct, the initial map view is good. However, when you click on the tiny "View" link next  to the first line above the map -- the subsequent map view is the old location.

2 step is also da kine snorkle spot.

Turtle my friends on Hilo just texted me the same thing! Now I'm looking into how to get down there on the 26th -- will likely stay near airport or in Kona on the 25th since I arrive so late.

Hey LLOLLO, I now see what you say about the view link. It goes to BGFC.

I will let the promoter know so they can go fix it on BPT.

Thanks!

Just sharing another link to smaller B&Bs / room rentals near Two-Step showing up on Google Maps (these never show up on travel site search engines.

I always found it easier to stay in one place on the Big Island and just travel for the shows.   I hate packing up and moving all the time and the drives to the shows are always beautiful and can be big fun.  One of my fondest memories was driving back from the Akebono one yr. Flying high and singing songs and laughing. All the way. Beautiful also with the moonlight. Although staying right down the street a couple yrs was fun too. Something to be said for walking home from a show. Even in the rain.

Always rented a big home for the whole time (In Kona) even if we stayed one night in Pahoa.

Thanks Mark D. I wish I could do that, but I also like staying close to venues and being mobile!

The friends I"m staying with on Hilo side for the show on the 28th don't want to come to Kona side. On the 27th, they told me how I can take a bus from Kona to Hilo for $2 to meet them!

I would happily share lodgings with anyone on the 25th + 26th if I knew of anyone looking to share -- I just don't know who else besides Turtle and Garyfish will be there.

Since now it looks like I'll have to rent a car from the airport to drive down to Two-Steps area on the evening of the 25th, I"m also happy to take riders from Kona, and back to Kona on the 27th.

Bummer, not available at all that week! That is a nice place, thanks kxela!

Llollo, I just sent you an email at the address in your Viva profile. Hoping we can talk sometime this weekend about all things Big Island.

Thanks Garyfish -- I just now sent you an email w/ my draft plan for BI. Let's talk tomorrow!

for today, at least, airfares to Hawaii are the lowest I've ever seen, due to competition from Southwest Airlines entering the Hawaii market... $119 each way for select flights, mainly from Bay Area airports

don't delay! these lowest fares won't last long...

https://beatofhawaii.com/139-flights-to-hawaii-airfare-war-today/

the folks that put out that Hawaii e-newsletter/blog are predicting that one-way fares as low as $99 are likely in the not-too-distant future

Thanks GaryFish -- when I changed my flight last night, the PDX > SEA > Kona o/w fare for basic economy was $151!  Amazing.

Soon come !!

Because we can't let this thread fall off the main page.... here are some photos of the first 2 venues on Big Island...these were posted on the FB DNB group. I deactivated FB but snuck back on there just to catch up on DNB news!
