Best concert sound I ever heard at the MSG I saw.  Every instrument present and balanced, down to the dinkiest hand percussion.

Saw them a few times in the mid-80s, then this MSG show.

Knopfler shows since haven't been much different, aside from his band topping out at six players.

saw them back to back in htfd years ago..ill have to research that, but i do know that i was so impressed first night, that i bought tix on street for night 2...

 

i think it was late 80 s, also around same time i saw Knopfler join claptons tour i blv...
