I have nothing to offer in return but this picture taken Thanksgiving day, of my grandson teaching me how to catch redear sunfish (shellcracker) on an improvised cane pole.
Sweet picture! (and feel free to take all the pics you like, that's what they're for, entertaining... and here in the NW, that fish looks a bit like a large bluegill)

Staying between Charleston OR and Shore Acres State Park this weekend, have a spectacular view of the ocean and Cape Arago Lighthouse!!! One of the only northerly views of the Pacific Ocean on the west coast!!
Here's a few more pics from our weekend at Shore Acres State Park on the southern Oregon Coast, got real lucky with the waves on Monday morning! Here's Sunday's sunset;
Met Grandpa Munster, Al Lewis, at a Charlie Musselwhite show at Tramps in NYC many moons ago. He sat at the table next to ours and was friendly with everyone, a huge blues fan, great guy.
Mickey Harts people commandeered the sound crews tent at a show we did once (at Fern Ridge Res. between Eugene and the Oregon Country Fair site)
We'd run power for AC in our tent. The band technically had it's own Bar with a decent food spread, but they liked out tent for some reason... so they filled it with meats / cheeses / fruit / veggies, and other finger food, we weren't allowed to smoke herb (which we ignored), but we could keep all our personal stuff in there (jackets, back packs, DI boxes, etc). Got to meet several cool dignitaries and members of the band, but they never used the tent (we brought in the midi guy for the dead, great stories, along with the guitarist in the band, but that was to get stoned, lol).
In the end, they donated all the food to the sound crew, how cool is that?!!
Dead shows could get sleepy sometimes back then for obvious reasons. I think Bobby just that he was being a rock star but maybe he was acting out a little because of Jerry's incapacitated state. Jerry just looks like shit. I kinda avoid looking at vids during this period.
