The Dean Ween Group 'Rock2' / Keith Kenny Tour

The Dean Ween Group and Solo Artist Keith Kenny are tearing it up on their Co-Billed 9-City 'Rock2' Midwestern / Northeastern Tour. Deaner is Touring in support of his brand new 'Rock2' album. Keith Kenny has also recently released a self-titled album. Lots of treats & surprises for the (Dean) Weeniacs in attendance.
For example, I was stunned to see a sincere treatment of Garcia/Hunter ballad ‘Stella Blue’ by DWG’s Bill Fowler.
Keith Kenny is making new fans at every Tour stop, with dynamic opening sets, and periodic sit-ins with DWG.

Floops, I came into it pretty organically, kinda thru the side door. .Since I'm pals with Keith Kenny, I've been going to the Invitational Jam at John & Peter's in New Hope for a coupla years now. I had no idea what I was getting into but The Invitational is a sensational garage band type Jam with some of the best players in the area, including Deaner, Keith, Joe Kramer, HoF'er Mike Hampton (Parliament Funkadelic), DWG's Bill Fowler, and a litany of guests. It's awesome on a weekly basis.
I'm psyched to be going to the last two shows of the DWG/KK Tour tonight in Philly & Saturday at Brooklyn Bowl.!!!
I have to credit 'August Forming' on FB for scrupulously compiling all the setlists. I just copied & pasted for those interested...

Easy wind, thank you for posting the setlist. My buddies and I went to the Space on Wednesday...they killed it. Cool to hear that you are friends with Keith Kenny and have attended The Invitational. I was there 3 weeks ago before Deaner left for those DWG Colorado shows. Took my girlfriend down for her birthday and had such a great time. That place has a great vibe and New Hope is a pretty cool little town. Even met Deaner and talked for a bit....Wild Night
