Touch of Grey

Wavy Gravy. Good lord.

Other than that it was fun.

I got there during Franklins, and thought it all sounded fine, with as usual Mayer, Chementi & Otiel leading the way, but damn that Milestones was excellent.

The NYE bit was a little long, but the music after was good, and it's always a little nostalgic to hear Bob singing Sugar Magnolia at midnight.

Overall I've seen this band better, but they were good and once again I was surprised at how good Mayer is, and Bob is still in a real good place.

The building... yeesh, it's so wide & high. Lots of room to roam around in but almost nowhere that feels at all intimate or close. It's just a huge room. Seems like the best place to be there is either on the front half of the floor or straight back in the lower stands.

But I got into a suite and that was sweet, and a good time was had.

Except when I saw Wavy up there without his shirt.

Good lord man.

Happy New Year folks.

What's that right above "Set  2"?  Who is Mrs. C and why should she be fucked?

Looks like a generous setlist, and a fun way to usher in the New Year.

Good of Bill, Bob & Mick to keep the NYE tradition rolling.

Hope some of you get to go up to TXR to see Phil kick off his 80th birthday year.

We had a suite too, it was sweet indeed! Great show! Happy 2020!

Hunnnnaayyyaaayyaa  that was some hot bipartisan fun. Bob's voice strong, band hittin' it.

And damn if I didn't see all you zoners up doing the Charleston at midnight. God Bless all things Dead
