Good night Jambone

As with most of tte  long  time PZ. u diss Deadco.

Cause most will not get off their ass and see a show

Jaded MF

Lol....seen em a week ago...now seen them 4x

Sweet dreams

>>As with most of tte  long  time PZ. u diss Deadco.

Is it dissing them - or just saying why Dead Co. does not work for them? I think it is great when anyone gets off on music - so I don't dis Deadco. right out of the box as much as I just express they are not for me. I have met too many who tell me that "I am missing out". These people seem to be dissing me for not sharing their opinion. It's a two way street. Have to admit - I'm still enough of a Grateful Dead fan that I check these threads to see what the setlist was. I may not groove on the way they play - but I still like to check out what they played. Old habits...lol

 >>Cause most will not get off their ass and see a show

It's only Saturday and I went out to see live music 3 out of 5 nights this week. Of course none of them was DeadCo. - but one of them was a local Dead cover band.

"jrad does that all the time"

Actually, JRAD usually turns on a dime while screaming at 100 MPH.

Ok 6er. explain yourself

"so I don't dis Deadco. right out of the box as much as I just express they are not for me"

go check out 6/16 or 6/15 or fuck, even last night.

Looking at a setlist and not listening to the show makes your opinion mute.

You rather see a garage band?

or is it JM hate?

"

>>>>>Have to admit - I'm still enough of a Grateful Dead fan that I check these threads to see what the setlist was. I may not groove on the way they play - but I still like to check out what they played. Old habits...lol

This.

>>>>>or is it JM hate?

Yup.

If he wasn't part pf this I prob. would attend the one show in our area

Yes, but here you are on a show thread dissing Deadco. Blinders on full steam ahead.

>>Yes, but here you are on a show thread dissing Deadco. Blinders on full steam ahead.

I see no one dissing them. Not one.

>>or is it JM hate?

No, for me - it's Bob Weir disappointment.

Sorry we don't agree on everything, but that happens.

And "garage" band? Hmm...sounds like you have opinions about music too. lol

That garage band has a great guitar player named Seth Yacavone. Different strokes.

What does the family band and Ross James have to do with this thread?

If someone does not like Dead Co - they automatically like the family band?

That's kind of like a Trump supporter saying - well Hillary...

BTW - I'll be seeing Zach Nugent tonight - with his "garage" band.

Have at it 6er, you enjoy yourself.

I will. And you do too.

If you really read my posts - then you know that is all I want for everyone to do - go out and enjoy the music they enjoy and not feel bad because someone else doesn't like it.

Who cares?

Like the music you like. It's simple.

Stop worrying about what other people think about the music YOU like. Just stop.

Peace.

Just goes to show ya, everybody don't like sumthin'.

And this is the place you'll hear about it. Haha

Silly human silly human silly human race

That was some show last night. Majesticic 2nd set.

Stellar musicianship, they brought the goods.

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez when it's Easter time, too
And your gravity fails and negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs when you're down on philzone avenue
They got some hungry creatures there and they really make a mess outta you

I have so many great memories from Alpine Valley. It was one of my favorite summer tour stops in the 80's. In 1986 I had a great time at the second show...one of a few times that I got to watch the show from up on the stage and I got to talk to Jerry Garcia for a minute backstage between sets. Burned into my memory.

6/22 was streaming on one of those show mixlr's last night after the 6/23 show and I listened to quite a bit of it. Kind of impressed with Mayer's handling of the material, he has gotten better for sure. It doesn't make me want to go to shoreline but I can see why people are excited about the Ratdog Rhythm Devils. Some songs are really awesome (it being 2018) while others a bit flat.

Even So?

Weir is just trolling us now.

Mayer is a douche of the highest order,

and a closet mall bitch rockstar,

but if you don’t focus on those facts,

or follow him on social media,

he’s darn good in the band,

just don’t look at his facial expressions mid-jam while you’re high on psychedelics.
