I wouldn't believe it had I not read it...over $50 million in 2017. I bet they play at least 50 shows in 2018.
Dead & Company Grosses Over $50 Million In 2017 - Dec 19, 2017 - JamBase - By Scott Bernstein

In 2017, Dead & Company played 33 shows and their two tours were major financial successes. Pollstar’s Box Office Insider took a deep dive into the numbers and the big news is that the 33 concerts saw 613,025 tickets sold for grossed $51,775,904. The figures would have been even higher had the six-piece not had to postpone the final three shows of fall due to John Mayer’semergency appendectomy.
Pollstar did the math and noted Dead & Company’s average gross in 2017 was $1,991,380. Dead & Company features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with Mayer, Oteil Burbridge andJeff Chimenti. The band was formed in 2015 following Fare Thee Well and embarked on their first tour that fall. In 2016, D&C hit the road in the summer and this year saw the band regroup for summer and fall runs. Dead & Company is next expected to come together in February for the sold-outPlaying In The Sand destination event in Mexico, along with the three dates that needed to be rescheduled when Mayer fell ill. From the looks of John’s social feeds, don’t be surprised to see more Dead & Company in the first half of 2018 as Mayer revealed in an Instagram story that his upcoming Controlled Danger dates with Dave Chappelle will be his “last major solo performance(s) for months.”
While Pollstar’s numbers don’t include the band’s charity appearance at Band Together Bay Area, the website notes Dead & Company sold an eye-popping 79,489 tickets for two nights at Wrigley Field in Chicago this summer. The total gross for the shows was $6,357,746. Pollstar also noted how much the band’s draw changed depending on location. While they filled Wrigley to 91% attendance, they did worse in Phoenix where there were 6,588 empty seats in a venue holding 19,250.

They grossed over $50 million from 5 FTW shows. So they're 6 times less popular without Phil?

I hope all the band members
I hope all the band members are getting an equal share, but after watching this documentary on Netflix I doubt it.

Some of the touring musicians with the top grossing touring bands (who play much bigger venues thatn NIN) who are not band members bring home under 100k (often with medical) for over 100 gigs a year. Most of them aren't complaining though. It sure beats scratching together work all year and bringing home less than 50k with no perks.
p.s. I highly doubt that the non-GD members of the band get a share equal to the core 3.

I would bet the core three
I would bet the core three and Mayer get equal share. I heard once the Robert Smith gave everyone else in the Cure equal share on tours but he was an outlier.
