Really, truly good sushi. Flown in from a place like Tsukiji market in japan, with real wasabi and seasoned sushi rice.

Texas smoked bbq brisket with a vinegary bbq sauce.

Properly cooked and smoked bbq ribs with a bark of spices, served with a spicy sweet bbq sauce.

A top-shelf croissant, which is the love-child of butter and air.

Nutella ice cream. Because nutella.

Bacon that has been brushed with spice red pepper jelly and glazed and crisped in an oven.

Steak. Real, aged, grass-fed steak, cooked on hot coals till charred outside and mid-rare inside. With a 25 year-old first-growth bordeaux.

Proper french fries. Not the thin american fast food bullshit, but triple-fried hyper-crisp spuds that shatter like glass when you bite into them. With a real homemade ketchup that has no corn-syrup in it.

Pizza. The thin crust variety, cooked in an 800 degree oven until leopard-spotted with char. With nothing but a good tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella.

Ok, also, New York pizza, when you are buzzed from a night out. Covered in dried herbs and spicy pepper flakes.

Crispy falafel, pickles, pickled cabbage, tahini, hummus, amba, in a fresh-baked, slightly charred pita, still pillowy and warm. Somewhere in the middle east that I cannot divulge.

A really good french champagne with salty, just fried potato chips.

Real mexican al pastor tacos, cooked just minutes before.

Perfect langoustines, just grilled with lemon.

Jamon iberico de bellota. Very thinly sliced, with some simple crisp white wine.

Really good, really fresh oysters with lemon juice.

Fresh poke and shave ice on a beach in Maui.

I'm making fudge tomorrow, then Baked Beans on Thursday...   there'll be enough hot dogs and corn bread for everyone!  (Had ham last weekend, time to put that bone to good use!)

Twinkie dog (use a Twinkie for a bun, with sausage, cheeze whiz, and bacon bits)

Dessert Pizza (get a store bought pizza crush, make a chocolate sauce with sweetened condensed milk, then add toppings such as fresh fruit, candy, resers cups, etc)

Though sometimes it's the view that makes the meal!  Here's a simple bacon cheddar burger with homemade deviled egg potato salad and corn on the cob, and simple BBQ brats and beer.
