Wish You Were Here

Studio album by Pink Floyd ?

piece of crap obviously before alan parsons added an alarm clock, and. cash register.... genius

yes

Some good tunage

I'm definitely a Wish You Were Here fan.

Still, I wouldn't kick Dark Side Of The Moon out of bed for eating crackers.

"I was definitely in the right. That geezer was cruising for a bruising!"

Crackers in Bed could be a great PF tune.

It's about some folks who have to take their sheets off before they get between the sheets.

Saline Friction

Saltine, Ritz, or Triscuit
Stoned Wheat or Biscuit
If the linens aren't salty
Our bedding will be faulty

welcome my friends, welcome to the salteeeeeen

Pretty pretty pretty good.

LOL Tatters. I can't not hear the Larry David voice.

Through the years, whenever I have set up a new stereo, installed a new car system, added a new component or speakers, etc; I have consistently thrown in Dark Side as the "christening" first play/test play piece of music.

It was 1973. It's motherfucking awesome.

As good as it it, I'm pretty much done with it.

By now, I nix "Money" before the bassline kicks in.

I don't hate it like I do The Wall (I was never crazy about it, but my kid's tenure in School of Rock led me to despise it) but I don't need to hear these tunes again.

Wish You Were Here?  Never gets old.

animals....never gets old....

Pink Floyd never gets old , for me anyway.

I think Dark Side Of The Moon is one of the best studio albums released by anyone. Wish You Were Here is right there with it.

MEDDLE

Bluest, you are so right about Money. I mean, the overplaying of that is criminal.

if you heard wish you were here as much, it would grow old too.

And Jambone is on the money with Animals. Maybe more lasting than the others even.

Ah, yes, the Zone I know: full of refreshing debate with crucial facts, controversial insights, and witty repartee.

Wish You Were Here might be my favorite album of all time. Dark Side is awesome too.  Never been more disappointed in an album than animals.

For me, Any Colour You Like never gets old, a handful of the other tunes got old.

I prefer to listen to post syd/pre DSOTM PF anyway, before Waters beat his chest and brooded all over the floyd.
