Sadly They CRAM them together Worse than The Best Sold Out Show In The Baking Heat !

Does this mean a glut of shoes & leather jackets this winter?

There are starving children in Africa, what a waste!

Look for an upramp in taco bell specials

With the drought over, wouldn't large scale water misters have helped?

Shit, Fafa, there are starving children in the US!

>>>>>With the drought over, wouldn't large scale water misters have helped?

lol

Jaz, have you been to a dairy farm?  Where do you install misters in a big open field?

This is just the cost of doing business when you own a farm.  They'll write the dead cows off at the end of the year.

 >>>>>They'll write the dead cows off at the end of the year

Just like we all do.

We all have our proverbial dead cows to deal with.

>>>With the drought over, wouldn't large scale water misters have helped?

Not a bad idea actually. Cows are smart enough to take advantage of a heat relief system of some sort. Shade, ventilation and misters.

>>>>>Not a bad idea actually.

Yes it is.  That's why exactly zero farms installed one this year.

Is this thread a proverbial dead cow?

If it was a dead bear Fog would mutilate it.

Yes it is, just because you disagree doesn't make it a bad idea.

Its called progressive humanitarian cow practice.

>>Is this thread a proverbial dead cow?

save the cows !

California is not progressive, Fog.

>>>If it was a dead bear Fog would mutilate it

really milking that whole bear thing, lol

Dairy cows and seed bulls are doing fine around this part of the state.
I think they eventually end up down the road at this place, though.

Save the cow or decrease the loss of revenue?

Off topic but we were comped some Paul McCartney tickets this coming Saturday's show by my good friend that is the venue house electrician. My buddy said Sir Paul' s rider says no meat or leather boots belts are allowed in the back stage area.

I wonder how that works out.

Pretty funny in the context of a dairy cow thread.  Though I doubt you were being funny intentionally.

>>>> just because you disagree doesn't make it a bad idea.

It's a bad idea because it would be very expensive and time consuming to install and might not save a single cow.  That's why it's a bad idea.  Not because I disagree with it.

Why don't they just build them a giant air conditioned building with a grass floor?  That's a great idea too.

this is  good news for some lucky cows.

it wouldn't surprise me if they were treated to sprinklers on hot days at the sanctuary, or possibly even air conditioing. apparently they do make cooling systems for outdoor animals. http://www.bigfogg.com/animal-cooling.html

OP has major problems

>>Though I doubt you were being funny intentionally.

It was intended to be humorous.

If they had a system in place to give heat relief it would eventually pay for itself. To use in case of emergency, like a heat wave.

One week every decade? FUUUUGGGGGGGGIIITTTTTT!!!

Many livestock cooling systems on the market.

But they have to be somewhat contained, you just cant go blowing water into the air in the central valley

Slacker, turn off Fox News.

This isn't the first time there has been a heat-related disaster for livestock owners, according to the newspaper. San Joaquin Valley farmers went through a similar crisis in 2006 when nearly $300 million in losses were reported because of the heat. In Kings County, 1,834 milk cows valued at $3.7 million died.

The indoor facilities kept going up in fire balls, anytime the workers lit up a smoke. Methane ventilation is a problem.

Now that is enlightening.

Before his last tour, Morrissey, told promoters that he would require them to not allow any meat products in the venue at all. This was to include all articles of clothing. The original "demand" was to deny entry to anyone who had "meat smells" on their breath. Morrisey's peeps finally agreed to no selling of meat products in the venue and left it at that.

But they have to be somewhat contained, you just cant go blowing water into the air in the central valley<<

Aren't they doing exactly that with shit-water on crops nowadays?

And oh, yeah: F Morrisey.
