Crystal Cove State Park

Forums:

Going early this year to do some more exploring.

Can't wait to get there. I hope it gets warmer.

I think we only got one day over 100 up here this summer.

We just got back from camping on the Harbor Islands, somehow we picked the two days of the year where it would be over 100°. Sort of intense but the views are great.

Enjoy, man.

Gravy is from there maybe he’ll be of some help

((((((ocean)))))

It's a nice place. That's all I've got. Those beach cottages are a cool throwback to an earlier era.  Gets a bit overcrowded for my tastes; I wouldn't go near there on a holiday weekend myself. But Slacker has been before and knows what he's getting into.

Exactly why I’m skipping a trip to Santa Cruz this weekend.  Call me crazy but I’d rather be in Fresno.

Holla...

The new campground is nice.

Water dipped to 71...brr?!

PS. Do you guys wear your clothes in the water?

Slacker likes to wear cut-off jeans, better known on the Zone as jorts, when swimming. Jorts and a Mickey Mouse shirt.

What do you wear, Gravy?

I don't think anyone thinks cut offs are jorts because they're not.

>>What do you wear, Gravy?

Nada. I like to swim nude. Hence I need smaller crowds and warmer water.

Or sealion skin for warmth. Yeah, that'd do, too.

You playing Pelican Hill?

Honestly, AssCheeks, I never got the Jorts joke around here...it peaked during one of my hiatuses. I don't know the difference and I'm not sure it really matters. But if you want to check your notes and let me know, that's fine.

Cool of you to stick up for cut-offs, I guess. I'll bet they're a favorite of yours, too.

I’m camping at the beach with my family and friends so no golf.

Too many people to ditch for 5 hours.

jorts are hemmed jean shorts. jean shorts are jeans that have been converted to shorts by cutting with a scissor or knife.

both are a bad look, but they are different.

Cutoffs are not a bad look if the length is right.

I'm interested in which parks north of the Bay area are cool for day trips,

we're looking to experience the redwoods, and other natural wonders

Hoovs,  YOU"RE CRAZY!

I think there is a redwood park near Point Reyes that isn't as crowded as Muir Woods.

Does he have an Instagram?

did you enjoy the experience?

We've only been there during lifeguard tryouts.
