Chris Robinson Brotherhood playing in Rochester tonight.  Should be fun.

What songs does Casal stretch out?

Nice. Glad you went. They are a very good band.

Slacker, Shore blues is the song CRB stretches out.

It's a subtle long jam, that 're visits the theme after flying around a while.

Neal builds complex scales from simple noodling

Your left with enough time to roll a joint and then smoke it.

Chris gets a little fidgety, so they give a guitar to hold...

It's called Tomorrow Blues.  There is also a song called Shore Power.

Thanks fitz

Good morning man

Both songs jam out after a while

I'm rarely this finicky, but MacDougall just doesn't do it for me on keys ... just goes "sideways" too much for my tastes, and not in a way that Chimenti has of playing outside the lines, but rather spins his wheels in the sand and doesn't propel the band in a meaningful way.  It's one of his goto tones that has a very swirly characteristic that he leans on too much IMO.  I'm all for going sideways if he makes it work in the psychedelic sense, but it's much more of a crapshoot with him.

I'm not a fan of Chris Robinson's mouth off stage either, yet the band will hit the spot for me about 3 out of 5, or 2 out of 3 times.

Still debating on tix, but will likely get them soon ... mostly because they're the most in the ball park for my overall tastes that will come through town this winter.

CRB is definitely a band I'm "conflicted" about!

MacDougal was very effective with circles around the sun.      I was pleasantly surprised

I agree and I can find him distractive in Crb maybe on the plane of one or two out of five using your nomenclaturei

I very much like green leaf rustlers last time I saw them.  When in doubt GTTS

What is that logo?

Freaks

Chris gave my eight-year-old son his harmonica at the Charlottesville show. And Neal handed him a setlist. So they're good guys in my book. Plus the show was great.

New drummer?

I think Mark Levy filled in for a few shows. I think Tony is back again.

I saw them with two guitar players.

I took photographs of that show.

Let me put CRB in search engine
