whatever is available live..
whatever is available live...i wont buy precooked shellfish. usually dungeness, sometimes maryland blue, always maine lobsters available.
one day id love to try king crab but almost all of it thats available is both very expensive and precooked/frozen...usually do crabs over potatoes with both covered in a garlic/crab gut butter for xmas

I can't say that I've ever
I can't say that I've ever gotten King Crab not precooked. The local has it on sale for $11 an lb. I might just have to grab some tonight. I steam it then cut the shells, but don't pull out the meat, and quickly saute it in a pan with cajun spice and a homemade chili paste. mmm mmmm mmmmm
