Ain't Worried About Nothin
French Montana
Ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Ridin' round with that work
Strapped up with that Nina
Got two bad bitches with me
Molly and Aquafina
Money don't mean nothing
Niggas don't feel you when they see you
My whole 'hood love me,
But now a nigga wanna touch me
I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
I ain't worried 'bout nothin'
Nigga, I ain't worried 'bout nothin........

Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley

I fought the law...the clash

Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley<<<

The Ray Charles song? If yes Humble Pie did a smokin version.

Hallelujah was written by leonard cohen.

The Ray Charles tune is hallelujah, i love her so.

Yes, it's was copy written & recorded by him.

However Hallelujah is a truly definitive "Folk Song", were as the song was taught and communicated by word of mouth. (before radio & records)

In fact as a child (1968-69) I started singing this exact song and it's hym in my Roman Catholic Church's "Folk Mass" on Sundays.

I try not to think about it, as it is a little disturbing that Leonard Cohen was able to pull this of in the 1980's, when the song has been sung by early slaves as a grasp of hope after they studied the bible.

Popa Chubby does my favorite version of Hallelujah

Twist and Shout - Beatles

Disturbing? Na, but I dislike Hallelujah, hearing it is like getting an ice pick to the back of the neck.

My Mother (RIP) sang it better.

When Cohen was a starving folk muscian in the village from Canada.

Never heard the entire Cohen version.

Papa Chubby loves the song and brings some life to it.

Mr. Tambourine Man - The Byrds

I Feel It Still - Trey Anastasio Band

Clint Eastwood - Trey Anastasio Band

Humble Pie - I Don't Need No Doctor

I prefer Jerry's studio renditions of "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Let's Spend the Night Together" over the Beatles and Stones original versions.

The Hendrix Watchtower is the best most brightly shining example - but I'll throw these in...

(From our old friend Ed) Graham Parker "I Want You Back"

(from me) Elvis Costello "Hidden Charms"

Johnny Cash both "Personal Jesus" and "Hurt"

Joni Mitchell "Both Sides Now"

Hot Tuna "Bowlegged Woman"

Talking Heads "Take Me to the River"

I would also say that the Allman Brothers versions of "Statesboro Blues" and "You Don't Love Me" are both far superior than the respective originals. Maybe even "Trouble No More" too.

In the case of Statesboro Blues the ABB didn't just cover the song - they made it a signature song for themselves.

Black Bush-St. Mark's Cat

I really dig this 15 minute GD cover of Smokestack Lightning:

https://archive.org/details/gd71-02-19.sbd.orf.1029.sbeok.shnf

Aretha Franklin's cover of Otis Redding's "Respect".

Linda Ronstadt's cover of Clint Ballard, Jr.'s "You're No Good"

The Byrds cover of Jim Reeves' "Blue Canadian Rockies"

Janis Joplin's cover of Kris Kristofferson's "Me & Bobby McGee"

Joe Cocker on "With A Little Help From My Friends"

Talking Heads "Take Me to the River"<<

Um, no.

Candyfrog says "Heroin by Third Eye Blind".

Burritos Wild Horses and Honkey Tonk Women better than the Stones.

CSNY's version of Woodstock better than original by Joni Mitchell

Herbal may have it with Janis, but I am going to say "Wasted Time" by Warren solo on the "Deepest End" DVD.   Can't get enough of it.

Black Magic Woman - Santana

Sid Vicious - My Way

>>>CSNY's version of Woodstock better than original by Joni Mitchell

I don't know about better, certainly different and more upbeat.  Joni's version is very moody and I generally like it better, maybe because the CSNY version is so overplayed.

Love Bizarre-- Michael Hedges

>>>>>Joni Mitchell "Both Sides Now

Joni wrote it.

Judy Collins covered it.
