Colorado Drivers Among Nation's Worst

Beer & weed

>>In December, insurance-comparison site Quote Wizard ranked Denver as the eighth worst driving state

Denver is a state? Rad!

I blame entitled people. Lots of them nowadays.

Must be the thin air.

From an in-field perspective, I can corroborate this data.

It's bad up here. Like, scary bad.

They're driving around all hopped up on String Cheese Incident cheezy flute solo's.

A lot of what's wrong with Colorado starts and ends with SCI.

Ha ha where's Nick when we need him, he'd be goin' Ballistic!

I believe Nick still posts here under the handle 'Admin'.

Ok so Nick moved up from Jr Admin & Ateix got the coveted Jr Admin position lmao

nick was pretty bad but is also from ohio...

I attended the 'Rocky Mountain Microbrewing Symposium'   in Colorado Springs,  CO some years back.  That town was Bustville Central.  Cop cars pulling people over left & right.  Wherever the Beer-drinking events were,  walking distance to hotel or Sober people drove.

Conference was daytime at a Community College;  Beer Talks,  but no consumption.

But it was absolutely Nuts seeing a half-dozen cop cars with their lights all flashing,  pulling over the 'bad drivers'  from 8 PM onward.  They really go all out there.

From that article, it seems that they judge bad driving by the habit of speeding up and then braking. It drives me nuts when people do that, especially as a passenger. Plus, it puts a lot of undue wear and tear on the transmission and brakes. It's not like it gets you anywhere faster.

It's definitely a pretty solid indicator of bad driving.

I see that stuff constantly during my commute.

Wonder if this study took into account terrain?  There might be more need to brake with rolling or mountainous terrain.

My tunnel vision explanation  the entitlement driving of 1%'s who gravitate to the state and turn up the heat for everyone in domino fashion.

My vote still goes to drivers in and around Boston.
