Chapstick Recommendations

Forums:

I've been using Burt's for years, but a recent cold snap in Colorado has my lips feeling pretty chappy.

What next level chapstick recs do you have to keep your lips protected from the cold?

Aquaphor has been available in the US market for over 90 years. In accordance with the Food and Drug Administration's OTC Skin Protectant Monograph  Aquaphor, containing 41% petrolatum (active ingredient), temporarily protects minor cuts, scrapes, and burns; protects and helps relieve chapped or cracked skin and lips; helps protect from the drying effects of wind and cold weather

Some good chapstick in this thread.

It all starts and ends with....SUZY:

^ a ski bikini and faux go-go boots?  That's hot.

I'm a custie, I make my own lip balm.

I've been a fan of Burt's Bees, too, but it seems like the recipe changed since they were bought out.

When I can get it on sale, my current fave is the lip balm stick from the Dr. Hauschka skin care line.

True, and the Burt's Bees lifeguard lip balm isn't even being made anymore. Zinc based lip balm (without the nasty chemicals added)  is not easy to find.  SOL Sunguard Zinc with Peppermint is very similar and a good value. The Jane Iredale lip drink just goes on smoother and with less 'white'.
