I'm currently in central PA for work until next Saturday. Is there any deadhead bars or places to hang around here? This is my first time in this part of the world. Looks like the Dead played City Island a couple of times in the 80's.

Yes, they did, in 1983 and 1984. The bridge going in was kinda weird, but after the show it was a whole lot stranger.

The Brewhaus is close by and has a nice back bar/deck area, if you're looking to watch games. Food is pretty good. The White Hill is a bit further down the road and more of a bar. There's a small bar that sometimes has live music- right near the railroad tracks on Trindle Rd. Johnny's or something like that?

I was at both the 83 and 84 shows. In 84, I was interning in Harrisburg and we could walk to the show. By the way, I have a bunch of Cripple But Free recordings. Great local Harrisburg area band
