ya, just put it up on sports folder as well...except, at that time i thought it was just for isiah, crowder, and zizic..i didnt know Celts gave up the brooklyn number one pick as well....but...

Ugh! I am a little surprised Gilbert acquiesced to Irving. Why did Cavs lose General Manager David Griffin again? Mutually agreed was reported, but why would Gilbert not want him there? 3 trips in a row & you don't want him? I am confused. Ugh.

celts just announced yesterday that they didnt think thomas would be ready for camp...his hip is major concern....ya know, besides the fact he cant play D.....

Fark, I am originally from canton, spent a lot of time in cleveland, music hall, public hall, the agora ballroom, the front row, richfield, blossum, municiple, the flats (when it was a dump). Grew up watching the cavs, barons, crusaders, tribe and browns. I left for fla in 83 and have made a couple trips back, one was for the browns first game back and also seen the tribe at the jake. 

Griffen was a figure head, Lebron was the gm and put this team together, a team that has three tradeable players, lebron, Irving and Love, the rest of the bums they are stuck with and alzo the reason Lebron is leaving. They have no trade value and Lebron knows it, and is truckin out of town from the team he built.

As a Celtics fan... me likes.

The ONLY thing I'm a LITTLE ehhhh about is losing the Nets pick in '18 draft.  

Oh, and now my Crowder shirt is outdated.

also...weird, weird, deal, but, if Lakers end up w 2018 pick 2-5, it goes to Celtics...if they dont, then Celtics get Sacrementos 2019 first round slot....and 2018 draft is gonna be loaded...that pick worth much more than  Isiah....

but, if youre the Celtics...you gotta take deal...adding kyrie just put them in picture for finals....Boston vs Golden State come spring...

You will never get to a finals with LeBron in the East until he is old. No matter what team he may or may not go to.

Seen just about every Cavs games since Ky came in the league. Dude is one hell of a scorer. Zero defense and he is just an ok passer when and if he decides to pass (which isn't too often). Selfish as all fuck!

Good for highlight reels that's for sure.

Think you went from 1st or 2nd in the East to 6th at best.

Wow.  Ainge is so overrated.  He parts with IT and Crowder for Kyrie?   And he gives up the BIG Nets one pick he was holding on to?    Isaiah blows doors on Kyrie.  Without Isaiah, Celts are nowhere near a one seed last year.  IT was the best player in the East last year not named Lebron.  Plus the Celts are psyched about Gordon Hayward?  Talk about overpaying. 

Celts with end up like the 2016-17 version of the Bulls.  

No Big Three walking through that door anytime soon.  lol. 

kyrie put up numbers in two final series games that only one other player in history has put up....no, it wasnt isiah...it was his teammate...former...teammate

Celts needed an elite scorer and got one. Cavs received a well rounded package and a potential top round pick. Makes sense for both teams.

I like Thomas, Irving i think is slightly better. Still not that big of a gap imo especially with Irving forcing the trade.

I knew about this Sunday.  Everybody in the know,  knows that Crowder was the secret x factor for LeBron to make it all happen.

Like I said....Boston has some nice talent but will have to wait until LeBron gets old or leaves the East before they can make a serious run.

Crowder had to go after he became all butt hurt when the typical chowded out Boston fans chanted "We want Hayward" or some other low class varient at a game last season. I like Crowder and he is on a real nice contract (fuck you, Phil Jackson). Boston had too many wings, though Crowder could play a lot of the new smaller PF position taking over the NBA with whatever Morris twin is there.

Seems like a relatively even trade, possibly slightly won by Cleveland depending on how that pick turns out, which is no sure thing.

Probably going to package pick with possibly Love next season for another top notch player depending on what LeBron decides. Maybe they don't use Love in the package deal, who knows?

If James stays they will package somehow. If not, they will use it to draft a player. Should be a strong draft.
