Carnegie Hall Tribute to Led Zeppelin

Forums:

see you there, J-bone.

I've been to a few of these programs at Carnegie Hall and they always have some great moments and interesting covers. The cause is righteous, too.

Have to keep an eye out for the lineup for this. Could definitely be a fun evening. I haven't been there in 20 years.

How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

Sorry, this lineup is under-whelming for a tribute to the mighty Zep.

Another Zep show

Late in December an impressive lineup will come together to pay tribute to the music of Led Zeppelin. The original Brooklyn Bowl location in New York City will host Zeppelin Bowl on December 28.

So far Ween co-founder Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman, Medeski Martin & Wood keyboardist John Medeski and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian are aboard for Zeppelin Bowl with the promise of “more special guests” to come.

Tickets for Zeppelin Bowl go on sale this Friday, October 21 at 10 a.m. here.

Agreed, very big shoes to fill, but they say the 21 acts for the Carnegie Hall show is TBA.

Saw Heart and Jason Bonham do a whole set of Zeppelin tunes a couple years ago.  Heavy.

A bunch have been announced. Not much there.
