At work, I was loading onto a truck this morning, which then goes to the airport.  The driver told me there is a planned protest in LA.

Doesn't seem like the right way to begin a dialog.

A Canadian customer wrote to me:  "We Canadians are to polite for this"  He is pretty upset that our country is funding so much of it.

Personally, it seems to be a lot of wasted fuel.  My guess is the oil industry is financing a large part of it, indirectly.

You can't simultaneously complain about supply chain issues and organize trucker blockades

Trucks are big and can intimidate others if used for that purpose.

However, they are also easy to nullify. They are easy to block because they need more room to move. You can block them on the highway with other trucks and leave room for auto detours.

How do these truckers survive this non-income demo time? They're always trying to drive more miles and hours to afford their truck payments.
