Can a news item ever make 100% of the zone happy? If so, this is it:

aw shit, they took his Lil Wayne album

Count me in on the fuck that shit head train.  Woot woot.

I'd only be happy if he were flayed, or subjected to some other punishment on this list:

If he survives six months, he emerge by the end of his first year as the Ramen King.

Thought this would be a sea boar thread

Someone paid two million dollars for a Wu-Tang Clan album?

The United states of fuck that guy indeed.

Not sure if true, but doesn't matter, it's dark and funny;

<<The prison commissary has increased the price of all stocked lubricants by 5000% after learning that Martin Shkreli would be ‘fresh fish’ in the next couple of days.

‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli was sentenced to seven years in prison for securities fraud and it sounds like he might have an extremely rough go at it in jail.

The prison commissary – where prisoners can buy snacks, toiletries, cigarettes and other odds and ends – hiked up lube prices by 5000% when they heard the news.

‘We don’t believe it’s predatory to do this. We can use the increase in profits to research what happens to the human asshole when it’s repeatedly violated without lubrication,’ said Terry ‘Ramrod’ Rodriquez.

Most prisoners simply won’t be able to afford lubricants at their new prices, and many will target Martin Shkreli as a result.

‘Lube is the lifeblood of any prison. If the supply dries up then there’s going to be a lot of friction around here and Martin Shkreli is the one who’ll pay,’ said one prisoner.

Shkreli has been warned to walk with his back against the wall at all times.>>

So apparently at his sentencing he used as a mitigating factor that he wasn't doing it for the money, he was doing it to enhance his reputation.  Yeeaaaah, I bet that helped.  These guys need to stop talking at sentencing.

The most “United States” thing about this is he was tried and sentenced to prison for

defrauding rich people, but when he was fucking over sick poor people with his price gouging,

the government could care less.

so repugnant!

It would make me happier if we had stories like this even half as often as we hear about shootings...

Imagine if the nightly flavor of our news was focused on yet another corporate baron fraudster was getting their assets seized and sentenced to a few years in jail, instead of what we have now - that would make me ecstatic!
