Well, we made the run down to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument this week.
All I can say is WOW! It is an amazing place! More cactus than anywhere I have been!
The Campground is in the middle of a giant cactus forest. If antone is looking for a Spring
roadtrip to Southern Arizona, this is a must visit place.

I love your photos, Dan. It's surprising to me that you can get the birds to be still. Nice job. Actually, I just looked a few more of your albums and I'm always happy that I do that. As I said at the beginning of this, I love your photos.
Say hi to Jan, please.

I'm glad you love photography! Cactus blooms are so vibrant, especially against the cacti bodies. Looking forward to seeing them.

Once the Covid calms down, you should check out the Parque Natural del Desierto Central de Baja California in the spring time. Its otherworldly with lots of interesting types of cacti, including the giant cardón and cirio in bloom:

Thanks Ken. I am half
Thanks Ken. I am half vaccinated. Once fully, I will start visiting Mexico again. I have done plenty of exploring
the Northern Mexican Desert areas. Mostly the Northern State of Sonora. Pinacate Crater Biosphere is a neat
place to visit. It is really an extension of Organ Pipe Monument going into Mexico. I am planning on getting over
to the Baja side in the future. San Felipe might be in future plans?
