Bryan Ferry

Forums:

Roxy Music and solo career, good stuff.

Cleveland tomorrow night.

Saw him a couple of years ago and was a little disappointed but it had more to do with the band then Bryan.

Have fun.

From a CD review in the Sac News & Review about 13 years ago:
"Mylar has a strong, Bryan Ferry-like voice."
Made me check out his music. I didn't see the connection the reviewer made, but I like his work.

He portrayed himself as a Las Vegas act in a genius sort of way.

Should we complain now that he is one?

Great music and no excuse for having such a small body of work other then over paying him.

Texas show this past Monday, looks like a greatest hits song selection from his career.

He has some of the original musicians from the Avalon album with him on this tour.

Saw him two weeks ago, and the show was great. Awesome guitar work by the young kid, and the young lady on sax was great, really well put together band. The band definatly took a bunch of the songs out there and jammed out to my liking. They played a bunch of Roxy Music stuff with the sax work on point for it. Bryan's voice was a lot better than what I was expecting.

Enjoy the show, Cleveland was my old stomping grounds ages ago

Cool Fabes,  i'm looking forward to tomorrow night.

Just last week I picked up the 'Bete Noire' and 'Taxi' CDs, used, cheap.

Couldnt resist.

I still enjoy his music a lot.

Fun show tonight, like a hurricane and jealous guy were great, plus all the greatest hits.

I agree with the article that at times the mix muddied the singing, and it sure could of been turned up a bit, and a bit more, maybe they were concerned about blowing out hearing aids if they cranked it too loud.

but I still loved the thrill of it all
