Boulton Center, Bayshore NY New Shows Added 9/17-12/17

Forums:

I'm pretty blown away by all the great shows on Long Island this year. A real sixties like musical Renaissance, with plenty of newer acts too.

The Boulton Center really takes the cake and I'll list many of their shows below.

But the Boulton Center has really raised the quality benchmark, that all the other theaters in our area have to achieve.

Boulton Center, Bayshore, NY shows:

8/25 -Davey Knowles

9/8 - Falco Brothers (w/ Andy Falco) & Leslie Mendelson

9/9 - Joe and Albert Bouchard from Blue Oyster Cult

9/15 - BoDeans

9/23 - James Maddock

9/30 - Wishbone Ash

10/12 - Martin Barre (from Jethro Tull)

10/13 - Johnny A

10/15 - Sam Bush (just added today, on sale soon)

10/20 - Ronnie Earl

10/21- the-The Band -band (music of The Band)

(10/21 - Devon Allman - Patchogue Theater)

10/27 - Mike Zito

11/4 - Poco

11/11 - Freddie McGregor

11/25 - Gary Hoey

12/1 - Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams (just added today, on sale soon)

12/2 - Aztec Two-Step

12/9 - Samantha Fish

12/29 - Steve Forbert and The Renditions

I'm going to most of these, but can't make Samantha Fish, I have Hot Tuna tickets for that night.

If you're in the area, go to some shows and support the theaters.

The sound is spectacular and seats around 200.

Damn it.......Long Island gets ALL the shows.

This place is a stones throw away from your house too.

I'm straight up jealous.

Who makes up Poco these days?

Thanks Bluelight. It is a great place to se a show. I took your advice a while back and caught Dave Alvin there for my first time seeing him. Fantastic show and the opener, Carolyn Wonderland was great as well.

This show is also happening at Boulton Center:

9/10 Stephen Kellogg

I just scored seats for Rodrigo y Gabriella 11/10 at The Space in Westbury.  This will be my first time seeing them and I am fully stoked! Lots of great tickets available at $40 and up to $65.

Looks like a very nice batch of shows.  Wish I had fast & easy access to LI;  200 seat venue sounds just right.

Saw Poco at the fabulous Benton County Fair about 9-10 years back.  That's in Oregon but not 'Oregon Country Fair'.  It's more like Hog-judging,  Carney,  cotton candy.  They were OK and had maybe 1-2 original members ??

Hi All.

>>Who makes up Poco these days?

Really, just Rusty Young who this summer he was having a problem hitting the very high notes vocally.

I didn't buy a ticket. If I do it will be the last ticket sold.

Hard to believe all of these years, Poco tickets are selling well and It's their most expensive show this season.

I have sent a few requests to have Arlo Guthrie, Phil Lesh, and Chris Thomas King (in that order) to please come and play Long Island and consider performing at the Boulton Center or the Patchogue Theater.

Arlo's agent booked him into the Patchogue Theater on May 8th, 2018 & I just heard back from Chris Thomas King's manager (wife) and they are considering these two theaters.

Took my son to see the BoDeans at the Boulton Center last night. They were actually very good.

Kurt Neumann the front man & guitar player has a soft touch thing going ala Jeff Beck.

We enjoyed the show.

Next Saturday is James Maddock.
