I will try not to become withdrawn. The only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin on...
So you have conductred blind taste tests between indoor and outdoor tomatoes? Wheat? The square footage necessary to grow enough wheat to be good to anybody would be kind of cost prohibitive.
I have both early and late blight, so last year I grew a few tomatoes in the greenhouse. I had my highest ever yield per plant, but they definitely didn’t taste as good. There’s something about direct sun and rain water that makes a difference.
When it comes to bud, it seems that indoor can have higher THC levels, and maybe better taste and smell, but there’s something that I really like about the overall feel of outdoor.
I guess it's obvious what T.O.D. and Lumber are saying: every time a slug infests a Tomato plant, another Communist is born in Hell.
Look at the former USSR as a 'role-model' of Bolshevik farm policies. People starved if Western countries did not ship free boatloads of Wheat & Whiskey.
Every Soviet knew that Communism was a path to subjugation and slavery, but could not escape. They envied the Capitalist West and our 'Ways and Means'.
If you are growing amazing weed you will be fine. Sorry the market is crashing for the blue dream boyz and masters of mids up there. Try growing good weed then it won' be $100 a pack
It's $100 dollars a pound. I mean, at that price, anything is pretty good, right? I think that negotiations begin and end at "It's $100.00 a pound". No questions, photos, or other stuff necessary.
I bet hundred dollars pounds are outside the legal market, but prices are dropping fast in legal market too. This is what a $60 an ounce looks like from a legal shop
Just for the record, the $100 pounds are from Southern Oregon licensed outdoor farms and are wholesale liquidation prices. There is just so much of it. While some big players are banking coin, its most life changing for the friendly neighborhood grower types. Many of these folks have made a living for the past decade or longer with basement sized grows. For them, its just not financially feasible to keep doing it for a living anymore.
It will be interesting to see if we end up with excess electrical generation capabilities in the west as the grows move outside. I read somewhere that Humbolt had the highest per capita electric use in the state.
Good riddance to amateur outdoor growers who have no growing skills. Indoor weed is better that's why it costs more and doesn't turn to shit after a few days. Good outdoor weed is sent out of Cali back east or end up as top shelf at the dispensary's.
Buy your shit at glass blower parties with wax/oil/nug vender booths. Get to sample wax/shatter/THCA 50/50 sauce on galaxy e-nail dab rigs and nectar collectors and cut deals with the manufacturer directly. Also a 3-hour show had 40 something raffles between glass blowers dab rigs and vendor goodie bags to keep people there.
Oaksterdam, what events are you going to? The company I just started working for might be doing a few bay area events soon if you want to come snag some zoner weed.
And no, anything is not good for $100 a pound, if it' shitty weed it's shitty weed. I wouldn' smoke the weed in that 60 dollar ounce photo if you paid me - I can smell the old man terps from here
Daylight the Turlock one I work at for my buddy's concentrate company. There's also one in Modesto called Shatter Shot Sesh that my buddy goes to but I don't since it's a bad night for me. Another friend works at ones in Berkeley and Oakland called Gathering of Pied Pipers.
