I never liked the Blob. Not much personality. No real action. Just kind of a low key monster. Shame really.

The Blob was one of the first teenage horror flicks where the protagonists were teens facing not only the monster, but also unbelieving or otherwise unhelpful adults and authority figures.  It was also Steve McQueen's first movie.

Kinda gross but I get great satisfaction when allergies are on and I can hauk up a tremendous lugi blob and expel it from my body.

 

Mowing the yard snot rocket when nothing to blow into is available except the air are both gross and satisfying blobs.

 

Iron cut oatmeal is a wonderful blob.
