^ cool!

Wow, what a rug!

Right Slick?! I wonder if it's a PITA for running cables or if it makes it easier. Either way I hope they get to keep it!

I'm streaming the archive link out to my patio and this is a pretty crispy taping for aud. Enjoying the heck out of it.

I have to wonder if camo is the best wardrobe choice when you want people to see you on stage though. J/K idgaf as long as he's comfy yes

Very good aud. On Summertime now.

Slainte Knots!

I love the good lessons from the GD Billy has taken up the mantle on. Rarely repeat a song on a run, taper friendly, free killer sb streams for free when there isn't a video stream, ers mixed in with superb original compositions. IMO they've mastered covering all bases and keeping it interesting with traditional and rare deep track covers in beautiful venues. Fan friendly all around. I've yet to hear a show that I didn't enjoy the hell out of tbh.

*deep track covers, not ers lol derp

Whoops. Wish I could say that was a typo, but, fact is, it's a straight-up brain fart. Thanks, C-R.

Has Strings played with Phil ?

This takes the cake...

I do not think Billy has played with Phil.

Billy has nothing on his tour schedule June 4 - come on down!

That would be sweet, but they already have 3 guitars on stage. Swap out Grahame for BIlly, though...

There's a lot of dark and macabre tunes in the American Roots Music songbook, surprised Billy didn't dig a little deeper.

Oh The Wind And The Rain

In The Pines

Stagger Lee

The Ballad Of Omie Wise

Frankie & Albert

all those tunes on The Louvin Brothers Tragic Songs Of Life album

Psycho isn't exactly roots music, but it's about as dark as it gets.

Is that the official poster?

Thuesday

Is that the day before or after Whensday?

lol imagine reading Psycho on a setlist and thinking it's not dark enough. Dude in the song kills the neighbor, the neighbor's puppy, a nice girl and Jackie Whit, plus his mom all in one 3 minute song. I guess Billy should find a trad song about skinning people alive?

Can Mary fry some fish, Mama?
I'm as hungry as can be
Oh lordy, how I wish, Mama
You could keep the baby quiet cause my head is killing me

I seen my ex last night, Mama
At a dance at Miller's store
She was with that Jackie White, Mama
I killed 'em both, and they're buried under Jenkin's sycamore

[Chorus]
Don't you think I'm psycho, Mama?
You can pour me a cup
If you think I'm psycho, mama
Better let 'em lock me up
[Verse 2]
Don't hand the dog to me, Mama
I might squeeze him too tight
And I'm as nervous as can be, Mama
But let me tell you 'bout last night

I woke up in Johnny's room, Mama
Standing right by his bed
With my hands near his throat, Mama
Wishing both of us was dead

[Chorus]
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama?
I just killed Johnny's pup
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama?
You better let 'em lock me up

[Verse 3]
You know the little girl next door, Mama
I think her name is Betty Clark
Aw, don't tell me that she's dead, Mama
Why I just seen her in the park

She was sittin' on a bench, Mama
Thinking up a game to play
Seems I was holding a wrench, Mama
Then my mind walked away

[Chorus]
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama?
Didn't mean to break your cup
You think I'm psycho don't you, Mama?
Mama, Mama, why don't you get up?

[Outro]
Say something to me, Mama
Mama, why don't you get up?
Mama?

> I guess Billy should find a trad song about skinning people alive?

It's not traditional, or roots music, but Skinned is Blind Melon's tribute to Ed Gein.
