Unless I missed it, I can not believe Harold & Maude isn't on any of these "lists".

That movie is so damn funny and at the same time it touches on so many serious themes, some of them simultaneously, and overall it's incredibly odd & sweet at the same time.

Even the soundtrack is great.

It's a fucking great movie.

Shakes the Clown was a fascinating look into the clown hierarchy. Rodeo clowns are at the top and mimes are at the bottom. Robin Williams has a cameo, as the mime who gets bashed when the rodeo clowns go mime-bashing.

Plus, any movie that opens up with a wasted Bobcat Goldtwaith in bed with Mrs. Brady has to be A+!

Harold and Maude is great.  The scene where Harold is blowing bubbles on pillows and the scene where the general has a pull-string arm salute are two of the best visuals out there.

Blues Brothers as best musical should be on the list.
