^^I would travel for this one if it is not close.

I was psyched to see that Tashi Dorji is opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor on their upcoming tour. I'd love to see that; I think he might be the most inventive guitarist working in avant garde / truly 'out' experimentation.

I saw Lance was talking up the upcoming Earthless dates. I don't know them myself but Kikagaku Moyo will be on the bill with them when they're here in town. From what my friends have said of Earthless, sounds like a great show.

Also read that Jonathan Wilson is touring again, that's exciting, would love to see him in a good listening room here.. and Yo La Tengo will be playing around that same time, but in an absolutely awful concrete/cinderblock shithole. Unfortunate.
Calexico are playing later in the spring, in a much nicer room.
Acid Mothers Temple, too.

Most of the best music that I want to see in the coming weeks is actually going on in NYC at the Stone:

we'll see where that project lands up. All of the best players and big names (with a few glaring absences) are coming out for these Jan-Feb shows. Would love to hit a few of them.

whatever i get to will be the best!
