Beers are $12

Forums:

and burritos $15-20...

The best beers are from a friend's refrigerator on a warm summer day.

That's why the good lord created bourbon and the plastic flask.

Cheapest beers I have seen at a show was at Pearl Jam at the Tauron Arena in Kraków Poland:   $2 (cheap)

not talking show beers, those are $18-22. I'm talkin' about restaurants and other watering holes.

Went to The Ardmore Music Hall the other week to see Melvin Seals, brewery across the street had happy hour brewed in house beers for $3.50!!

Also went for lunch at a local place, bill for 2 with beverages was all but $100.00!! Not fine dining by any means.

Dining out is fast becoming a luxury I'm reserving for special occasions or some show nights, otherwise too many $$$$$$$$$$$.

Plus I think I cook better than about 75% of what I get out there.

So there's that.

Even food truck burritos can go for $15 here!

Serious turtle...  my local burrito shop just raised their price to $16.95 for an all in burrito.  With tax in CA it's $18.50.  WTAF.

and beers with tax/tip def at $12.  Does make you want to stay home at times...

I know many places where you can still get good pints for $7+. Yes, tip your bartender/server.

Toronado is still open everyday on Haight Street.

I hope we will see better times and be eating out and drinking together in joyous celebration. Right now most everything looks damn grim. Courage and resolve my friends.

I'll be at the Andy Coe Band show at the Blue Moon Tavern tonight.  They have a good selection of $7-8 pints.  $5 PBR is the econo option.  Free admission too.

^ in Wisconsin, PBR is the option if you cant afford Old Milwaukee or Old Style. How PBR  became a thing on the coasts is a marketing slight of hand.

Packed house tonight with the show about to start

.  pint, $7

Double shot of Jack Daniels on the rocks. $19
