I was being facetious. 100% agree that is how it is going to turn out. Most people know it too and that is why there doesn't seem to be a high level of excitement over what would otherwise be a pretty significant and historical proceeding. Like watching a re-run of an Evil Knievel stunt that you already know is going to end badly but without the cool motorcycle or rocket car.
And worse we get to hear Trump running victory laps on Twitter - "No abuse of power, no obstruction" - over and over.
Still think it needs to happen for purely moral purposes, but also agree that when November rolls around it will be long forgotten and won't make a difference one way or another.
