Aw, Pickett Wilson

Forums:

Now I'm a huge Mike Bloomfield fan, that said side 2 of Super Session reminds you what a great guitar player Steven Stills is

Must sound in there.  I heard some Paul Butterfield 4 months ago with Elvin Bishop, that was very very good

What are your 3-4 favorite Stephen Stills songs?

I think 4+20 and Love the one Your With,

3 & 4 draw a blank?

Black Queen, most of Manassas, will cover your question I think

Judy Blue Eyes, Carry On, Helplessly Hoping...

Bluebird, Rock and Roll Woman, FWIW...

Still in all, I don't  his recorded work with CSNY allowed for showing off his talent, the Super Session record does. Live the duel guitars with Neil where at time great

He pretty much invented the wah wah on track 2 of side B

^ Thanks.

Guess I will get to work as I have less then 24 hours of shelter until 1/24, in the heart of winter.

They list me as "g" (guitar?), but I mostly played piano with Michael a few times at this venue.
He always asked me to play "Loan Me A Dime". Awesome experience for me.

Oh My God.  So glad to zone with you.

What other songs?

The first Manassas album is easily in my top five "desert island" albums.   Dude is a way underrated guitar player.

Sadly, last time I saw him with CSN in 2014, his vocals were shot and his guitar playing was sloppy.
