Not so fast, Disco Stu ... Castilian Spanish is not a good choice for Barcelona.
Though my father's extended family is rooted in Barcelona and elsewhere in Catalunya, I have not been in touch w/ them for over 20 years. My bad.
They wouldn't understand my "searching for the sound" lifestyle.
I know some cool little spots to go that tourists usually don't go to... and hopefully will have enough time to prepare a list before I see her this weekend!
Well actually, my "Book-Learning" in Spanish was Castilian style, but I'm more comfortable with Mex-Guat pronunciations.
So as a tour-guido, when I say "Where are the comfortable Hotels with running Water ?" it sounds like "We should Cook the Goats and drink Tequila, RIGHT NOW !! "
im really curious what sort of service or advice only a zoner could provide in barcelona. will any old wook do? could it be a member of phantasy tour? what if they are in san sebastian? i assume dave matthews band fans need not apply, but figured id ask...for a friend.
